#Cyberpunk Go Board project update: it's done! The "bowls" don't have traditional lids, so there's no place to put captured stones, but I can live without it. What do y'all think?
If you want to create professional #fonts, there’s nothing better than using @FreeCAD and exporting to #SVG. The #CAD Sketcher component in #Blender doesn’t work great on my PC, but it’s still a solid option. #FontForge#b3d

Autodesk VRED 2026 has introduced new Vulkan renderer alongside the traditional OpenGL real-time pipeline, addressing fundamental limitations while introducing hybrid ray tracing capabilities that significantly enhance visual quality in real-time scenarios on workstations.
A pile of purple pcb's. These are ch32 breakout boards packaged into a right angle ruler that also doubles as a business card and were made in Issue 3 of SOURCE magazine using KiCad and Inkscape.
The cover of issue 3 of SOURCE magazine. The cover has a diagonal image across the centre with a stack of purple PCB's which are the output of one of the tutorials in the magazine. There is some green text describing the magazine content.
Hello people! I've been on the Fediverse for couple of years now, so here's my re-#introduction
I'm Ari, better known by my tag APZ and this is my #pinball repair, #arcade and #retrogaming account. I mostly post about playing and repairing pinball machines, but I also work on #retrocomputing with all the classics.
An IT guy by day, I moonlight as a public pinball arcade here in #Finland with my partner
@quester. This is purely a hobby of mine and I do this to keep my sanity and to keep pinball alive for the next generations of players. At the moment I own a bit over 30 pinball machines from 70s to 2020s.
I love to #travel, usually to meet like-minded arcade collectors. I have a strong preference to #repair stuff instead of throwing it away. I'm a #linux user since mid-90s, having been part of #foss movement most of my life.

i'm gonna try and make a rack-mounting thingy out of an old ITX computer case!
i'll do this with #CAD and some #3Dprinting
i would love to invest into a mini rack, but i just realized that's cisadmin pinterest vibes, and i might as well re-use this scrap metal i have lying around
one should be enough to fit most of the stuff i want in there, but i actually have a second identical one that i can flip upside down and mount on top of this one for expansion in case i need that later
Some of this infrastructure software is available in like a Million different #OSS projects that try to solve the same problem in a myriad of different ways
so imma do the thing that is only reasonable: make my own solution 😅
but i'll keep it super simple and mostly in a spit and ducttape kinda vibe, i'll document it as i go, but software will have to wait because we're moving onto converting the ITX case into a server rack using the magic of #CAD and #3DPrinting, which will take a while 😅
i've been making some progress on harddrive caddies for sliding in the six harddrives into the cluster chassis ✨
i'll try and post more details of the stuff im working on behind the scenes! i've just been very busy with work and personal life recently, but it'll all be shared later, i promise! stay tuned 😊
Welcome to 2025: it's time for this year's first #bevymergetrain :) Every Monday, I go over the backlog of community-approved pull requests to
@bevy: the #opensource#rustlang engine for #gamedev (and #cad apparently!) that I'm paid to maintain.
