I remember when I was a kid my dad was very amused by his work on a soundbite of Muldoon from an interview, changing the pitch of a word with his reel-to-reel so that Muldoon's reply finished halfway through and meant something completely different. He used it with his journalism students to show them you could't trust what you were fed and always had to ask questions. He would have loved and hated today's deepfakes and AI illusions #splice
