Crudely assembled from a diverse collection of different spacecraft from manufacturers including Anvil, Drake, and MISC, this formidable fighter is designed to endure the severe conditions of uncharted space, demonstrating that the reputation of your vessel is secondary to how you utilize it.[1][2]

Guns
The vessel is equipped with two Size 4 gun hardpoints and features a remote turret capable of accommodating four Size 3 guns.[1]
Missiles
In addition to the guns, the Shiv also has six Size 4 missile hardpoints.[1]
Cargo
Despite being labeled as a fighter, the Shiv also features a rear cargo hold that carry a maximum capacity of 32 SCU.[1]
Stowage
In the forward habitation area there are two lockers, each capable of holding up to 750K µSCU of various items. There are also FPS racks capable of accommodating one Size 5 weapon, two Size 2-4 weapons/tools, and three pistols/tools.[1]
Propulsion
Making use of two different types of main thrusters, the Shiv benefits from the long-haul endurance of the Freelancer and the desperate maneuvers familiar to the Valkyrie combat dropship.[2]

The Shiv is built out of the pieces of several ships (don't ask where it all came from), using a Cutlass Black as the torn-apart base, a mixed-origin quad S3 remote turret primarily hailing from the Hurricane, main thruster nacelles from the Valkyrie, main hull thrusters from the Freelancer, and several parts which are simply unidentifiable.[2]
