🏥 The old mortuary at North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. Demolished 2021.
The morgue is in a separate building, attached to the pathology and hematology labs. Three large mortuary slabs and two dissection tables are overlooked by a shielded viewing area. There are several old-style body storage fridges, as well as larger, more modern “walk-in” varieties.
🖤🤍 Who likes spooky Gothic graveyards, and/or 35mm #FilmPhotography?
Highgate Cemetery is a Victorian burial site in #London.
Highgate Cemetery is divided into several distinct areas, each with its own unique character. Notable areas include the circular Circle of Lebanon, a circular path lined with cedar trees, and the Egyptian Avenue.
Snow and moonlight join together to create magic and mystery, turning what by day is a treeless forest into a bewitching and captivating landscape of the night.
#PhotoOfTheDay is just a snapshot but of an amusing subject: someone has carved an quite impressive rendering of The Munsters into the top of a conventional coffee table.
When I originally posted this photo to a Facebook group for weird secondhand finds, it got over 3,000 Likes and several hundred comments, the most I ever received on any post to Fb – by a very large margin.
Our walk was a bit longer than expected. Before we got back to our car, the Sun was already gone. Let me tell you... seeing "The Blair Witch Project" a few day prior did NOT seem so good in that moment. 😭🤭
Just a few more of the prompts from the art challenge my friend and I were doing. This challenge has really made me draw so many man things I never draw, certainly a challenge. I dislike drawing people, always a struggle/not enjoyable. I know it’s cliche, but curse drawing hands. Hate it. There’s a reason AI struggles with it. It’s hard. I have lots of drawings I’d like to go back to and redo with paint and more time. So it really helped my muse. It has felt weird to wake up and not have a prompt to think of. I’m really itching to work on Christmas cards though or something Christmas related. 2 months of Halloween/spooky is enough, now 2 months of Christmas/winter. #doodles#sketchbook#drawingchallenge#ink#spooky#drawing#inkdrawing
👻Take a walk through an abandoned Horror maze with me! Dare you enter....The Scare Woods! Somewhere in England
The attraction was doomed before it even opened, now its odd assortment of props and sets pieces are an interesting curiosity to explore if you love #Spooky forest walks (fun fact, I certainly do :D)
A photograph of the exterior of a house, showcasing two windows adorned with playful Halloween-themed decorations. The windows are decorated with black, cut-out silhouettes of whimsical monsters, ghosts, and spooky creatures, creating a festive and fun atmosphere. The left window features a variety of monster faces and figures, while the right window includes a “BOO!” sign surrounded by more quirky creatures. The house has a light-coloured façade with a tiled roof and a small skylight window near the top. In the foreground, a black metal fence and some autumn foliage are visible, adding to the seasonal ambiance.
Vector illustration of a cute ghost at night reading from a book (that has the anarchy and antifa signs on it) to their friends. The friends are a flaming skull, a cat and a pumpkin. There's also a candle and a glass bottle with green fluid in it. Beneath the picture is written „In a cruel world, be radically compassionate.“
Painting of a scared black cat arching his back, draw in a simple style in black and white. The background is orange and there's a white sketchy border.
A badger, otter, red fox, and chipmunk are sitting in the middle of a graveyard under a half moon and starry sky. They listen as the badger tells spooky stories.
Cute Witchy Owl / Bird Art by Lisa S Baker. A cute owl dressed in a whimsical witch hat stands atop a branch, surrounded by small pumpkins. The vibrant colors and playful expression of the owl create a whimsical and enchanting scene. The backdrop features ethereal pastel hues, enhancing the magical atmosphere.
Created in March 2017 for an unannounced game.

The full library can be seen here. Next to the previous mentioned piano, poisons and machine room, we can see the main library with thousands of books protected by a wise owl "Boo hoo boo hoo!" and intricate skull decor.
Another part of the artwork shows the mirror room. Even the mirrors seem alive and love to spook around. Watch out! :) Taxidermied animals with glowing eyes can be found on the right side (lion, eagle, bear, rhino, hippo, warthog, bull, tiger). In a glass vitrine, precious animal skulls and bones are preserved.
In the upper right corner is a haunted dusty attic with spider webs, rusty tools and weapons ,a loom, old cloth, a still functioning gramophone, a forgotten coffin. Windows show the outside area with dead looking trees and a rather dark atmosphere.
..and then there is the ghostly maintenance staff room. Full of cleaning products, brooms, shovels, a warning sign for clean wet floors illuminated by a colder halogen light.
An old Gothic crypt, lost and forgotten in the forest of Scotland 🏴
The vaulted ceiling is tall and arched with strong ribs in classic Gothic style. Long vines hang down from the ceiling, having worked their way down through the roof. The beautiful red and black floor tiles caught my eye as I walked in!
The stone building is in a state of disrepair, with moss and vegetation growing on its walls and roof. The mausoleum is surrounded by trees and fallen stones, giving it a gothic and overgrown appearance
