I took these two indoor solarigraphy photos in my attic, using the windows through which a lot of light entered during sunset. I took the same shot with two cameras: a Braun Paxina IIb and a Polaroid EE33. I am very happy with the result of the first photo, but unfortunately the second one did not turn out well. The Polaroid is powered by two AA batteries, and the shutter can only stay open for just over a week (without mods), which is not enough for indoor solarigraphy. In addition, it does not have a tripod mount, so I could not set it up securely.
Despite that, I am very happy that I was able to bring back to life the Polaroid camera for which film cartridges have long been out of production. Now I have set up my Polaroid in a different location, secured it, ensured stability and plenty of light, and I am still testing it. The exposure time was 31 days for the Paxina and was intended to be 32 days for the Polaroid, but it ended up being approximately 7 days.
This is one of my first three solarigraphy shots. The exposure time was 34 days.
Unfortunately, I set the angle incorrectly, but you can partially see the paths of the setting sun in the sky. You can see when the sky was clear during sunset and when it was not. I set the same frame on two wider 6x9 cameras to capture as much of the sun as possible during the day, until sunset. The results will be available in the coming month or two! 😅
You are looking straight up from inside a cozy wooden cabin. The ceiling is made of warm, golden-brown wooden planks with visible natural grain and small knots.In the center of the image is a large rectangular skylight window set into the ceiling. The window frame is white with a clean, modern design — it has a slightly raised inner border that creates a subtle framed effect. Through the clear glass of the skylight you see a beautiful bright summer or spring sky: deep blue with many soft, scattered white clouds of different sizes. Some clouds are wispy and feathery, others are fuller and more rounded. The sunlight is strong and even, making the whole sky feel open, light, and uplifting. Below the window, wooden beams and part of the wall are visible. The overall atmosphere of the picture is calm, bright, natural, and peaceful — a view of the sky captured from a warm, wooden interior space.

Das Bild zeigt den Kopf einer Schaufensterpuppe, die durch das untere Fenster einer Fassade blickt. Die Puppe hat blasse Haut, geschlossene Lippen mit rosa Lippenstift und stark geschminkte Augen. Sie trägt etwas Dunkles, das ihren Hals und Nacken bedeckt. Der Hintergrund im Raum ist in tiefem Blau gehalten, möglicherweise durch einen Vorhang oder eine Beleuchtung, was einen starken Kontrast zur hellen Fensterfront bildet. Die Fensterrahmen sind weiß. Rechts neben dem Fenster ist ein Teil einer ockerfarbenen Steinmauer mit architektonischen Details zu sehen.

Marguerite Brouhon est la célébrité locale de la ville : peintre, poétesse, passionnée par les chats qui sont omniprésents dans ses oeuvres picturales.
Quelques oeuvres sont visibles au musée gaumais ainsi que le cercueil qu'elle avait conçu pour elle mais qui ne put être utilisé pour des raisons administrative.

🇬🇧 The ancient house of Marguerite Brouhon (1912-2004) in Virton (BE).
Marguerite Brouhon was a local celebrity : painter, poet, passionate about cats which are omnipresent in her pictorial works.
Some of her works are visible at the Musée Gaumais like the coffin that she designed for herself but could not be used for administrative reasons.
