I'm currently working on my thesis about autism questionnaires and how they can be improved, and I still need participants for my survey!
(You can participate if you're 16+ and speak English. See info below!)
Currently I'm especially looking for autistic people (self- or prof diagnosed), but non-autistic participants are also very much appreciated and needed!
Please lmk if there's questions, comments or feedback :)

Text reads:
Can I ask you something? Investigating differing perceptions of psychological questionnaires. ERPCN-Code: 302_115_10_2025
What do you need to do? Fill out a 30 minute questionnaire and give me your opinion on it!
You can participate if you are 16 years or older and fluent in English. While not a requirement, we are especially looking for selfdiagnosed or professionally diagnosed autistic participants! What's in it for you? 0.5 SONA credits for Maastricht University students. Contribute to ongoing research. If you are not a Maastricht University student, you will not receive a reward for participation. What's our goal? Create better and more accessible questionnaires for future research. Any risk or discomfort? You may perceive the questions as confusing or frustrating, but there are no significant risks or discomforts associated with this study.

yes, that’s not appropriate alt-text at all. Please include the complete text as given in the image. On Mastodon, alt-text has a much higher character limit than the post itself so that’s not a problem. Also, you can edit your posts so you can still add it now.
As for the questionnaire itself, I’m surprised to hear that. As people belonging to a minority ourselves, we should go to great lengths to try and include everyone. Lots of blind friends here on Fedi. 💛
@Heidentweet hii, thank you for pointing that out, I was genuinely not aware! 🥲 Unfortunately I can't make changes to the questionnaire now since it's already published, but I will definitely do better next time I'm designing a study. I added (hopefully sufficient) alt text as well now.
I'm looking for some survey form system that allows me to take a tablet somewhere without internet access, fill the form, and then the system syncs the answers to the backend when the tablet regains Internet access.
I know Redcap does it, but I was thinking of something more open?
Alright Citizens of Fedi, I have another #Poll for y'all. It's not technically part of the series I'm working on, but I had a chat recently and it got me curious.
Do penises (penii?) float in water? And does that change at all depending on hormonal balance or similar factors?
The thought of a correlation between "boyancy" and "buoyancy" is hilarious to me for some reason.
You don't have to be a penis owner to respond to this poll, but it is preferred that you have at least some experience with penises even if second-hand.
Please fill out the poll based on statements you consider to be accurate. Feel free to add context in the replies. I genuinely want to understand your thoughts and perspectives even though my polls can appear to be quite silly sometimes.
To define penis for this poll, non-natal penises are included and you are welcome to mention if that is the case vs not if you're comfortable doing so.
Reaching out to anyone who configured their DNS transport protocol. If you intentionally configured your home router's or your devices DNS service, what did you pick, and why?
Going live in just under an hour with

What is the oldest piece of electronic computer equipment (i.e., not just cables / cords) that you still use normally (i.e., not for "vintage computing" reasons) on a regular basis? #poll#survey
I have two answers. I have an original Model M that's in my lab at school where it is used more or less every day by students.
The thing I use regularly is a USB DAC (a Griffin iMic) that is at least 20 years old. I used it to add an audio output to a USB-C dock that didn't have one.
(Honorable mention: I used to carry a Microsoft USB travel mouse from the early 2000s in my bag and use it on the road, but the USB receiver is quite large and the convenience of BT finally won me over. But that mouse at least still gets used regularly around the house.)
