Is there anyone on here who received an email from the Washington Department of Transportation with this typo?
Other than Brandi Kruse, who is not very reliable, I have only seen a hand full of people confirm they have actually received this email. I assume the WADOT is getting flooded with emails about this from misinformed conservatives, so I don't want to ask them unless I have to.

Skagit County residents told to evacuate immediately
[IMAGE: NOAA, NWS Flood Inundation Mapping (Graphic by Fiona Martin / The Seattle Times)]
All Skagit County residents living within the 100-year floodplain should evacuate immediately, county officials advised Wednesday night.
That's everything in yellow in the map above.
The 100-year floodplain includes areas along the Skagit River and most areas in the western part of the county, including parts of Mount Vernon and much of Burlington and Sedro-Woolley.
“LEVEL 3 — GO! ALL RESIDENTS LIVING WITHIN THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN SHOULD EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT WAIT,” read the alert from Skagit County officials.
Here's some amazing views from the Sheep Lake/Sourdough Gap area in Washington state, just east of Mt. Rainer. It's on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail (PCT), accessed through Chinook Pass. Check to make sure the pass is still open before you go. #chinookpass#pct#WashingtonState#MtRainer
The image depicts a serene mountain landscape with a clear blue sky. A narrow dirt path winds through lush greenery, bordered by colorful wildflowers, including pink and blue blossoms, in the foreground. To the right, a small, calm lake reflects the surrounding vegetation. Tall pine trees and rugged cliffs rise in the background, with dense patches of green forest stretching across the sloping terrain. The scene conveys a sense of peace and natural beauty, capturing the essence of a tranquil hiking trail.
This vintage postcard shows a peaceful nighttime view of Mount Baker as seen from Baker Lake in Washington. The snow-covered mountain rises quietly against a deep blue sky illuminated by a full moon. Wisps of clouds drift across the moonlight, adding a dreamy, almost painted quality to the scene. Below, the moonlight reflects in a long shimmering streak across the still surface of the lake, creating a mirror-like effect. Dark pine trees and mountain slopes frame the lake, silhouetted in near darkness, while a faint glow of color on the right edge gives a sense of quiet habitation or firelight. The image captures the calm and grandeur of the Pacific Northwest at night—majestic, remote, and serene.
Next up in the anything-but-Epstein distraction plan: Send troops into Portland.
"President Donald Trump said Saturday that he will send troops to Portland, Oregon, and to immigration detention facilities around the country, authorizing “Full Force, if necessary” and escalating a campaign to use the U.S. military against Americans that has little modern precedent."
Trump said in a social media post that he was directing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to provide troops to what he dubbed “War ravaged Portland.”
"Portland has been a target of right-wing politicians for the way it has handled racial-justice protests as well as its homeless population, tolerating encampments in the central part of the city. But Trump will again encounter the dynamic he did when he deployed the National Guard in Los Angeles — a military deployment in a state run by a Democratic governor who objects to the decision and will have grounds to fight it in court."
On August 27, federal immigration authorities raided an active wildfire response in Washington and arrested two firefighters. Stateline reports that many of their colleagues believe that the management team overseeing the crew assisted in handing over the firefighters to authorities by deploying them to a remote location under false pretenses. “There’s really no way [the wildfire management team] could not have been involved,” said Riva Duncan, a former wildland fire chief who served more than 30 years with the U.S. Forest Service. “We’re all talking about it. People are wondering if they go on a fire with this team, if that could happen to them.”
