That's so irritating...
Something's wrong with #VivaldiBrowser, I can't play #Youtube. I'm getting this issue since yesterday and I can't solve it.
At first I thought that was Youtube's problem until I opened #Brave: I can play any video there. Why? I need to fix it!
Natomiast w wypadku Vivaldi i Brave ciągle coś - sprawdź naszego maila, sprawdź naszą społeczność, sprawdź nasz czytnik RSS, sprawdź naszego vpna, sprawdź nasz portfel krypto, sprawdź nasze konto.
Chwila!
Ja chcę tylko włączyć blokera reklam i sprawdzić Onet, spokojnie.
Przeglądarki w teorii chodzą szybciej. Nie zauważyłem specjalnej różnicy.
Fakt, mniej biorą zasobów, tyle że powinienem porównać je z "czystym" Firefoksem bez kilkunastu dodatków.
Jeśli chodzi o dodatki no to Chrome Web Store.
I still can't believe #Brave is a thing. There apparently are just people out there who are like "I'm frustrated by the corporate bullshit in Chrome, so I think I'll try this crypto scam made by a homophobe"
Recently I watched the movie 'Brave' with my daughter and the witch's sidekick caught my eye.
The crow's design really resonates with me as that is really close to where I'm looking to get with my animal sketches. Lots of loose lines, whimsical yet still badass.
End of Japanese community at Mozilla due to the introduction of AI-based translation.
The community members have expressed disappointment and frustration that their long term volunteer efforts and local knowledge were being replaced by machine translation, which they felt did not match the quality of human provided support.
This is why Mozilla sucks so much, they are going crazy like rest of the industry.

Title: End of Japanese community
Text by user named marsf that reads:
Hi, I am a locale leader of SUMO Japanese community. I have contributed to the Support over 20 years, before the beginning of support.mozilla.org.
Today, November 4, we decided to end our SUMO Japanese community.
In October 22, the sumobot was introduced to Japanese KB articles. I cannot accept its behavior and no words.
* It doesn't follow our translation guidelines.
* It doesn't respect current localization for Japanese users, so they were lost.
* It approves its direct English MT immediately for All archived KB articles.
* It approves only in 72 hours after its updates, so we lost our work to train new contributors.
* It has been working now without our acceptance, without controls, without communications.
* Over 300 Knowledge Base articles are overridden by sumobot.
They are all happened on the product server, not on staging server. I understand that this is mass destruction of our work and explicit violation to the Mozilla mission, allowed officially.
Therefore, I (marsf) declare:
* I quit to contribute to support.mozilla.org.
* I prohibit to use all my translation as learning data for SUMO bot and AIs.
* I request to remove all my translation from learned data of SUMO AIs.
However, individual Japanese contributors may want to work in their responsibility. It is their choice, we don't care nor support.
On tak naprawdę zrobił? #Brave
@Vivaldi
Stumbled upon it one day in #Ubuntu's app store's “New and Updated” section. 'Twas actually the #Flatpak version, which doesn't really have the best #images and #description, as it's #unofficial, so I wasn't drawn to it at first, but just kept in my #mind. A few days later, #BraveBrowser started having a lot of #issues (it was my bad, actually, but anyway) and I switched to #MicrosoftEdge for a while. A little time after, I found out about some ugly things M$ does through its #browser, and looked for an #alternative. #Browsers like #Brave were already too #basic for me, after using #Edge, and thus, when I saw #Vivaldi as a powerful alternative, I didn't hesitate a moment and tried it.
That's the most #important part of the story, but… there's a second #volume: At first, I was like a #crazy#chicken in front of a pot full of #earthworms, so… I obviously broke the browser in just one, two days. In the meanwhile, I also managed to repair Brave, and I was thinking of leaving V, considering it too #buggy. But luckily, I decided to give it one more chance, this time being more #cautious about #messing up with #settings… and here I am!
You might call me a very #wise person, since I didn't #giveUp immediately, but the #truth is… I was simply #mesmerized by it… :tony_happy:
Back in my day, we bought things once and actually owned them. Imagine that! You'd get a CD, a movie, a game, or a piece of software, it was a tangible item with a set price that was all yours. No strings attached.
Now? Everything's a fucking subscription. It's like renting your life, but somehow it ends up being way more expensive in the long run. Go figure.
This is why open source matters a lot. It still gives you freedom and whenever possible please support your favourite FLOSS app 👍
While we don't promote non-#FOSS apps, we can salute #Brave for setting up their own #FDroid repository for #BraveBrowser.
@brave how about a fully FOSS browser in f-droid.org next? 😉
Google "has all the important parts of the web, plus niche sites, abandoned blogs, sketchy copies of legitimate websites, copies of those copies, and AI-rephrased copies of the copied copies—basically everything. And the result of this Herculean digital inventory is a search experience that feels increasingly discombobulated," writes Ryan Whitwam for
@arstechnica as he delves into how unleashing Google's search index and algorithm could remake the web.
This is unpopular opinion, but for Firefox to live, Mozilla, as it currently operates, needs to die.
They forgot their core user base hates cloud and AI features. They want a simple browser that connects to web servers and displays pages. Meanwhile, executive are getting fat salaries and bounces while begging users for money on AI and other privacy intrusion projects like adding perplexity directly to Firefox. They lost their vision long time ago.
Nobody of you here is using/promoting #bravebrowser right?
Just in case:
Recently #brave announced on their blog to partner with IOHK who's CEO Charles Hoskinson campaigned for #Trump during the election to his millions of followers on X and helped RFK Jr. to gain office.
Though he's in good company with Brendan Eich, who's also a piece of shit.
You don't like fascism and their enablers?
That's good! Boycott the trash where feasible, damage brands where possible and make them pay where achievable.
The recent court documents showed that Google's internal testing demonstrated that significantly worse search results would not harm their business operations. This apparent immunity to quality concerns stems from the company's dominant market position, which the recent federal court ruling addressed.
"Since Google doesn't have any real competition, it can make the best information hard to find, forcing users to stay on Google longer and interact with more ads," Papadimitriou said. "This is dangerous for consumers, most of whom think the best results appear first."
The strategy appears to be working from a business perspective. The study suggests that poor organic search results actually benefit Google's bottom line in two ways: they make paid advertisements more valuable to users seeking accurate information, and they force users to refine their searches multiple times, exposing them to more advertising in the processw.
#software
