I have thoughts on & flavors.

CachyOS is a pain in the ass to install through . I've had nothing but problems with derivatives when testing through a VM. Once installed, it's a snappy little Desktop Environment. XFCE is my environment of choice.

Bazzite, a flavor of , is strange. The default installation size is 22.1GB. 4 CPU cores & 4GB Ram if not enough hardware. Seems kind of bloated to me.

Just a couple observations. Thoughts?

I bring this up, as & started the conversation of transitioning out of the ecosystem, due to and wanted a baseline OS for not only Testing purposes, but for an audience that is primarily users that are connected to that ecosystem in one form or another.
