Geothermal heat pumps are feasible for residential heating and cooling - it will make a difference as long as we organize and make it happen. If we leave it up to the people "in charge" we'll never see it, because it's not profitable to them.
Building the technology is hard. Scaling the technology is a LOT harder.
Finally I installed a Meshtasic node on the roof of our makerspace. Anybody experience with a that long antenna cable for a heltec-d3? I've got weird status icons on the longfast public chat. But at least someone replied with "test ok". #meshtastic#makerspace

@dbread I have been using Meshtastic for a while now with limited-range success. Isn't #Meshcore a completely different network? Why should I abandon a network I already use to adopt another one?
I recognize these world are very adjacent, this is genuine curiosity. I already spent money to get #meshtastic compatible hardware, and that's an upfront investment I'm hesitant to make again.
