Movim can now stream your tab or desktop audio when doing a video call ✨

We also improved the layout to clarify when someone is streaming with a [Live 🔴] status and the current resolution of the streamed video.

Good news everyone! ✨

Movim is now implementing XEP-0317: Hats and can display your chatroom Roles 🤩

And with the awesome work done with @nicoco on the Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp roles are now also displayed in Movim properly 👌

Now lets work on the admin panels to configure them 💪!

Hey, did you know that you can join Matrix chatrooms using Movim and (a Slidge XMPP - Matrix bridge) ? 😮

You can then access your Matrix rooms (and soon Matrix servers 😚) and integrate them seamlessly in your Movim interface ✨

…and it seems that Movim is much faster than Element at accessing and displaying the content of Matrix chat rooms 🚀 Fun 😸

However you can configure things in the Admin panel (check the wiki to know how to access it).

Movim is building a complete social platform on top of XMPP. Any account that joins the platform can already create its own blog 😊

Movim Communities allows you to create spaces to publish with others around the topic you like 😸! This is what the XSF did with their own News Community, hosted on their own server and accessible from anyone on the network.

@xmppbrasil @xmpp Movim is only communicating using XMPP, but there is several projects that allows to bridge XMPP with the other networks.

@Goffi is working on a XMPP <-> ActivityPub bridge for example :) We didn't tested it yet but you should have a look.

We do have standardized interoperability, several working servers, and a couple of clients that can do chat and social-networking (that Matrix doesn't do... yet ?).
