Time for another poll

If a 2026 Labour coalition government is elected later this year what proportion of that coalition would you like to be represented by Greens and Te Pāti Māori?

Based on current average polling and assuming they would need a collective minimum of 50.5% to form a government the Greens and TPM would make up around 15% of that vote meaning they would represent approximately 30% in a Labour led coalition govt.

So what Nicola Willis is really saying is under the pathetic leadership of the deodorant salesman the NZ National party passed a bill, despite a staggering 98.7% of submissions opposing the bill, that the Nats supposedly didn't support rather than voting with the opposition to prevent this bill becoming law and by doing so admit they are a totally incompetent govt that can't be trusted.

Although I like the idea of encouraging people to think outside the square.

I calculate it will only take a party vote of about 20-25% to make this a reality.

I like to remind people that under MMP if you're not entirely convinced that Labour are fully committed to taking the action we so desperately need to combat climate change, poverty and social collapse then you can party vote NZ Green without sacrificing control to the tyrants.

I just watched Nicola Willis doing a Q&A with media regarding the dramatic downturn in the economy.

I thought the journalists were being very inconsiderate with their questions, Nicola was asked nothing about her specialty subject “English literature” and instead every question she was asked was about the economy something she is not qualified to answer.

So, apparently, there's a study linking left-handedness and both-handedness (as opposed to right-handedness) with a number of conditions -- including . Just curious as to where others stand on this. I started out left-handed, and was forced to use my right-hand -- leaving me somewhat ambidextrous. And I would say that both sides of my brain are working overtime. changed its electoral system from FPTP to MMP by referendum in 1993. This means regardless of what electorate you live your "Party Vote" will help decide the govt. You get 2 votes a "Party Vote" and an "Electorate Vote" your electorate vote simply decides your electoral representation in parliament but your "Party Vote" will decide the proportional make up of parliament and ultimately decide govt which is usually a majority coalition.
