When bros hear that Big Tech's is going to take their jobs, they respond: "What are you afraid of? New opportunities will arise!"

When they hear that someone born on the other side of that imaginary line they call a border is going to take their jobs because they're cheaper without labor rights, they respond: "Send them back to their country! I want that shitty job!"

And at no point does it occur to them that both problems can be solved with the rights they've just crushed.

The false idea peddled by BigTech of a supposed army of robots that will do our shitty physical jobs is about as energy-efficient as a flying car. The jobs that will actually be replaced are all those where the value of the work can be collected in data. The goal was to eliminate the middle class, a shift from information to physical labor, especially considering the decline in fuel after peak oil in 2016, combined with the exponential energy demands of , AI, blockchain...(Jevons' paradox)

Este parche lo he bordado demasiadas veces que ya ni se cuantas. Lo que si recuerdo es que lo empece a bordar el 2019 es uno de mis parches favoritos.

Hay un motivo por el que resulta difícil de definir el fascismo y es que casi todas las demás ideologías se definen por lo que proponen, por lo que quieren conseguir. En cambio el fascismo se define por lo que odian. Sus objetivos en realidad son difusos y no están claros.

Se habla siempre de "volver" a una supuesta "grandeza anterior", de "patriotismo" y "viejas tradiciones" pero nunca explican exactamente cómo hacerlo. No hay un plan organizado ni un proyecto claro.

Sus propuestas solo se concretan y se vuelven claras cuando hablan sobre lo que odian. Sus propuestas son siempre destructivas, no constructivas.

No quieren conseguir nada, lo que quieren es que los demás no lo hagan.

Colour print in a Moebius style of a calm turquoise lake or wide river, lined by craggy karsty-looking mountains and forest. Two fishermen with wide conical hats stand on slender rafts; each raft has a lantern suspended at the front, a large basket, and a cormorant perching on the basket. A third cormorant stands on one of the rafts. The fishermen hold long punting poles. On the far bank of the lake is a large bowl-style radio telescope, wreathed with low cloud or mist. More cloud billows up against a blue sky, and emerging from this cloud - perhaps floating, perhaps resting on ground obscured by cloud - is an octahedron, several hundred metres tall. It is coloured with a pale pink and blue gradient, and coloured bubbling suggests it may be materialising somehow out of the cloud.

@tiflonet España debe nacionalizar la energía. Lo otro es financiar infraestructuras de empresas privadas. Además ya hay energía más que de sobra, que eliminen el sistema de subastas, y que dejen de engañar a la gente con encuestas estúpidas.

A la vez (sigo dandole vueltas al texto de ayer de Valente como si lo tuviese en el microondas) mientras leía me daba un poco fogonazos del codigo hayes pero no, no es eso. El tema, creo, no es tanto que los personajes malvados ganen o que la narrativa los presente como el ejemplo a seguir; para mí el problema es otro, y es un problema que le sonará a cualquier aficionado a Superman: y es que sobre todo en audiovisual no saben, o no quieren, escribir protagonistas que sean buena gente.
(Si tengo que leer otra vez eso de que son aburridos voy a chillar como un pterodactilo)

Para mí, las peliculas de Miyazaki solucionan ese problema, y el atractivo de sus antagonistas está en que tienen sus rázones, pero también las cuestionan. Llegan a la violencia por inercia y contexto, más que por convicción. Salvo esta excepción, en el resto del cine popular la trama la soluciona el que pega más fuerte, ya ni si quiera existe la solución al puzle más allá de estrategias de combate.

Je viens de recevoir les deux tirages commandés à @harriorrihar . Super content !

Deux tirages superposés. Le premier, sur le dessus, montre un petit personnage rouge de dos sur un décor végétal vert. Le second, en dessous, une jeune femme qui saute, comme en skate, sur fonds d'immeubles de teintes rouges.
