Shocking evidence reveals atrocities committed against the bodies of martyrs. Forensic evidence in Gaza confirmed that the bodies of a number of martyrs handed over by the #IDF had suspicious surgical marks, deliberately mutilated bodies, and some were executed while handcuffed and blindfolded.
WHERE ARE THE INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS AND INVESTIGATORS?
“They stood in a silence so heavy it seemed to bend the light around them.
Their smiles were hesitant — like doors that had forgotten how to open. And in that moment, I realized: freedom itself can be fragile.
We who survived war thought we had endured the worst — the bombs, the hunger, the endless waiting. But their stories shattered that belief.”
#Netanyahu says that the leak from the notorious Sde Teiman detention center, which showed sexual assault against a Palestinian prisoner, has caused “enormous damage to the image of the State of Israel,” emphasizing that “this may be the most serious media attack Israel has faced since its founding, and I cannot recall anything so intense.”
I couldn't continue to read this, but it is important that it is shared as much as possible to highlight yet again that the Israeli government is routinely torturing prisoners.
The ICRC and Amnesty International have called on Israeli authorities to release Khader Adnan’s body so that his family can give him a proper burial. However, four days after he died in an Israeli prison cell, his body has still not been returned. Israel systematically withholds Palestinian bodies to use them as political ...
Why did so many MAGA folks skip civics and government in school?
A post from Alex Cole (@acnewstics

Sari Bashi from Human Rights Watch unpacks a UN report accusing Israel of systemic sexual violence and genocide.
Sari Bashi, a programme director at Human Rights Watch, discusses a UN report that accuses Israel of systemic sexual violence and genocidal acts against Palestinians. #Israel denies the claims.
Israel competes with HAMAS in regard to cruelty and violence towards prisoners. In effect, Israel is now using its political prisoners as hostages for revenge.
What kind of negotiations could be held after violations of the previous agreements?
"Of the #prisoners released during the #ceasefire in November, eight are back behind bars.
One is Obeida Hammad, who served 17 months of administrative detention without charge before being released, but was then rearrested by the Israeli army three weeks ago in a 4am raid on his home in Silwad.
Badriya Hammad, the 19-year-old’s mother, said her son had not been involved in any illegal activities since his release and he had dreaded going back to prison, where he had endured harsh conditions."
It's simple:
"Partly as a consequence of the new detentions, negotiators are demanding guarantees that any freed prisoners will not be put straight back in jail, the #Palestinian officials said."

“The #prisoners are detained in a sort of cages, all blindfolded and handcuffed,” the source said. “If someone speaks or moves, they are immediately silenced or they are forced to stand with their hands raised above their head and handcuffed for up to one hour.
“If they are unable to keep their hands raised, the soldiers attach the handcuffs to the bars of the cage. Many of the detainees had infected wounds that were not being properly treated.”
He added: “The floor is very dirty, and it smells so bad that we were forced to wear face masks. You could hear sometimes the sound of beating and them screaming, and [a] banging sound like against the metal wall.”

Addameer, a Palestinian human rights organization, estimates that 54 Palestinians — the majority of them from Gaza — have died in Israeli prisons since October “due to torture, inhumane detention conditions, systematic abuse, and deliberate attacks.”
One man, identified as Zaanin, said he was denied access to the bathroom and medical treatment and deprived of sleep. Another man told the news agency that his “hands were injured from electric torture” and that he witnessed “more than 30 prisoners with amputated legs, some with both legs missing, and some with both eyes missing.”
Israeli Treatment Described by Freed #Gaza Detainees Violates International Law
Released Palestinians say they experienced torture behind bars, including frequent beatings and sleep deprivation.
On June 6, the New York Times published another story about Sde Teiman based on interviews with former detainees and Israeli military officers, doctors, and soldiers who worked at the prison, bringing new horrors to light about the treatment of Gazan #prisoners. Detainee testimonies repeated many of these same accounts but also included additional disturbing accounts of sexual violence, including testimonies of rape and forcing detainees to sit on metal sticks that caused anal bleeding and “unbearable pain.”
Meanwhile, the families of #Palestinian detainees, both from #Gaza and the #WestBank, have been left to wonder about the fate of their loved ones for months on end as horror stories continue to trickle out of Israeli #prisons from those who are released, further feeding the anxieties of the families. #IsraelWarCrimes#IsraelTerroristState#Gaza_Genocide#genocide#warcrimes https://mondoweiss.net/2024/06/the-genocide-in-israeli-prisons/
20-year-old Palestinian administrative detainee Ahmad Tazaaz'a, from Jenin, died yesterday in the Israeli prison of Megiddo. His family says he had no prior health issues prior to his detention nine months ago.
His death brings the death toll among detainees to 76 since the start of Israel's genocidal war on #Gaza, during which extreme violence, including #torture and #starvation, has been widely used against the detainees. https://t.me/QudsNen/179138

Lawyer of Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, currently imprisoned by Israel, wrote:
Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya is not okay.
My last visit to him was on July 9, 2025.
He has lost over 40 kilograms — more than one-third of his body weight.
At the time of his arrest, he weighed 100 kg — today, he weighs no more than 60 kg.
On June 24, 2025, he was severely beaten.
His room (Room 1, Section 24 – Ofer Prison) was specifically raided.
He was brutally assaulted in the chest area and sustained severe bruises to the face, head, back, and neck.
The beating lasted approximately 30 minutes.
Dr. Hossam requested medical care, proper testing, and to be examined by a cardiologist — but his request was denied.
He suffers from irregular heartbeat. His eyeglasses, which had recently been sent to him through his lawyer, were broken.
He is still wearing winter clothes while enduring starvation, torture, solitary confinement, and total deprivation — buried underground, with no exposure to sunlight.
Amjad #Iraqi explains why Palestinians identify with Khader #Adnan, a prisoner who died on hunger strike, for his struggle against #israel#prisons.
"Those trying to undermine public anger over the hunger striker's death don't want to talk about the violent carceral regime that he struggled against."
It is legal: "The government has ensured that horrific practices in sites like Sde Teiman can continue with impunity, in violation of international law and medical ethics."
Scabies is an itchy skin rash caused by a tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. Intense itching occurs in the area where the mite burrows. The need to scratch may be stronger at night.
Scabies is contagious and can spread quickly through close person-to-person contact in a family, child care group, school class, nursing home or prison.
Prison authorities help scabies to spread by restricting inmates’ water supply and depriving them of clean clothes and medical care.
