Project

Introducing DITS — a Developer Issue Tracking System built exclusively for solo developers. 🛠️

Tired of Jira-shaped tools designed for teams of 50? Every feature in those tools assumes collaboration — approvals, assignments, team dashboards — and you pay the complexity tax even when you're the only user. DITS strips all of that away.

What makes it different:

→ Zero-friction capture — create issues from the web app, CLI, IDE, or mobile with minimal keystrokes
→ Keyboard-first design — every action has a shortcut, with a Command Palette (Cmd/Ctrl+K) as the primary interface
→ Sub-100ms interactions — optimized for flow state, not loading spinners
→ Deep Git integration — auto-creates branches from issues, links PRs and commits bidirectionally, closes issues on merge
→ Smart Views — Inbox, Today, Upcoming, and Logbook keep your work organized without manual effort
→ Projects vs. Areas — a first-class distinction between finite work (ship v2.0) and ongoing responsibilities (maintenance, learning)
→ Your data, your rules — full export and portability, always

Tech stack: TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, GraphQL (primary) + REST, with native desktop and mobile apps planned.

Currently in early Phase 1 — building out the core foundation. More updates as things take shape.

The project is not , but in the future, when it's more developed, It probably will be.

Getting things ready to release my terminal-based mining game. Got to start thinking about what sort of marketing approach would be the right fit.

I mean, the target audience is people who like playing games in their terminals, which seems pretty niche.

On the bright side, my daughter's been helping out with promotional art, and here's the logo she came up with, which I think is just awesome.

Hey! I'm a solo developer working mostly with Rust. I write about ideas and concepts at Medium (medium.com/lifefunk) and starting to share technical content on dev.to too. Excited to connect with other developers here. Currently working on github.com/airsstack

For some reason, Mastodon decided to take down my previous post 🤷‍♂️

So, let's try this again (Round 2!) 👇

Hello ! 👋 This is my here. I’m a solo dev making my first game for Steam called .

Still😅, I’m kinda obsessed with how these cats jiggle 🐈✨

Gameplay footage of a cozy puzzle game called Catomino. The player is dragging and dropping soft, tetris-shaped cats into a grid on a rug. When the cats are placed or moved, they wiggle with satisfying jelly-like physics. The art style is warm and colorful, with sunlight casting shadows on the floor.

So this is what I wanted to work on since last month! The visual effect plugin of unity was needed, so I lost a lot of time with upgrading! As you can probably tell, finetuning will be needed!

This is how far I got today; The help button first opens a quick help menu where instructions can be explained... this is still WIP. I have to see how it will feel when it is finished.

Sigh. The main menu looks a bit empty... so I will try to make another intro level that is quite a bit bigger and fills out the entire screen. So much for thinking I would be done with this soon... details, details, details.

Meet Ean. Ean is an architect. If you want a room building, your kindred needs an architect somewhere that knows how to build it

In fact, Ean designs architects' studios. You can't have architects without studios, so this is the first room that you need to be able to make

Tonight I worked on the fire place. Sadly, I have no dynamic light sources, so for now, this needs to suffice. There is an overwhelming amount of stuff to model and insert left 🥵
I hope I can keep it up 🤞

Looking at the bot models over time; The rightmost is the latest one. Trying to make it looking a bit more cute. Do you think this is an improvement?

As a solo indie dev, I can tell you: reviews mean the world. They boost visibility, morale and sometimes even motivation.

So if you loved a game: say it loud, say it with a (Steam) review.

I've also put controls for Brightness, Contrast and Color Saturation in my Marble Game.
That way you can make your machines look like David Lynch built them!
