The proceedings are set to begin at 9:30AM in Manhattan. Though the president-elect is expected to avoid #jail time, his #sentencing on 34 counts will formalize his status as a #felon & make him the first to carry that distinction into the White House.
I hope that, sometimes soon, someone like Secret Barrister or DAG is able to put out a decent explanation about the rioting sentences and charges because it's hard to look at 4 years for planning a peaceful protest which never happened vs 2 months for partaking in actual riots and think it is in any way fair.
