If you are a #musician doing this #MusiciansDay thing, consider giving me a follow. I am a fellow musician, and I try to promote the hell out of my fellow musicians' work, both by reposting your posts, and coverage on my blog.
And music fans! Follow me because I will feed you so much cool music from independent musicians!
Screw it. Happy #MusiciansDay everyone. I'm Momo, I do a small project called Phentr0pulse which is basically just me doing DAWless electronic synth stuff.
Besides that I do long acid-house like improvised livesets where I constantly generate random basslines (RNG, not AI) and try to improvise beats to it on the fly. My latest recording is from this years GPN in Karlsruhe where I recorded a set I played on the lawn in front of the entrance: https://funkwhale.apps.phentr0pulse.de/library/tracks/8
You can find everything on my website https://www.phentr0pulse.de and on my self-hosted funkwhale instance. Give Anubis a wave from me, she just checks if you are human or an AI crawler bot. My music is released as Creative Common, so enjoy it. Except if you are an Generative AI crawler bot, then fuck off, die in a fire and keep your hands off my music! #noAI
Since it’s #MusiciansDay, why not discover a whole bunch of great fedi musicians in one go on https://music.bonkwave.org by listening to the recently released,“The Four Seasons of #BonkWave: A Midsummer Bonk’s Dream 1 & 2” (that include a couple of my tracks :)
And to keep abreast of the busy fedi music scene, be sure to follow #NHAM (@mixtape) and to bookmark https://nham.co.uk!
Hey, it's me, some average German guy.
I'm not a musician, I never learned how to play an instrument- I'm not a singer either, with no clue what I'm doing here. Yet, I've wrote hundreds of songs since I first touched a guitar.
Don't ask me the genre. I make whatever feels right to me. My lyrics are primarily random emo brain dump.
Here is one of my rather recents songs "Half a life away".
From one NJ musician to another (and his manger/mentor/friend) - this new song "Deliver Me from Nowhere" shares a title with the book about the saving power of friendship when Bruce's depression was showing up in the making of his intimate album "Nebraska" in '81 and '82. Manager Jon Landau urged Bruce to get help, which Bruce credits for possibly saving his life.
Here's an article about my song in response to Springsteen & Landau's story:
Hello #MusiciansDay! I'm the person behind Beyond the Haze! 🎶 I do rock/electronic/gothic music with a bunch of influences from the 90s and early 2000s.
hi #MusiciansDay i am pulu and i make music with code, old computers and various other contraptions. genres are fake but i draw a lot from trance, drum n bass, downtempo etc
I’m a (mostly) electronic musician who started off in an electroclash project with a giant budgie head and now wrangles puppets under their own name. I’ve previously looked awkward in MOJO magazine and others (https://robertafidora.com/press-photos), as well as writing two EPs about a little known rocket and satellite project on the Isle of Wight, where I live. 🌐
Never underestimate the difference that even $1 can make! Our strength is in our collective numbers! We take care of ourselves!
