I'm going live with a charity stream to celebrate my 4th streamiversary. We're going to be playing Doom with Hideous Destructor on the Going Down mapset, using a mod that I made that hooks charitable donations into in-game events!
We're going to celebrate with another co-op Doom charity stream like we did back for the 30th anniversary of Doom's release.
This time the charity is going to be Trans Lifeline, and we added some new charity redeems you can subject us to, like spawning an evil doppelganger that appears like a co-op player.
We'll be doing Hideous Destructor in the mapset Going Down.

SF’s is having a massive power outage. We ended up having to drive across SF to find a laundromat to dry our soaking wet laundry. Here’s my two observations: every third block is a traffic jam caused by a confused Waymo that doesn’t know how to handle these intersections with no power. Why are the Waymo’s even allowed to drive right now?
Also, considering how much of our city’s budget goes to the cops, why aren’t any of them directing traffic? I mean, it’s not like SFPD is busy solving crime…

Many excellent bands / acts will play, including Dool themselves! Really looking forward to it and easily worth the travel. Seeing a lot of friends, enjoying good music and having a good time is what #Doom is about!

My pick this week for #Saturdoom very post-rock infused doom from Helsinki, #Finland. The band makes #doom with a lot of atmospheric, almost electronic influences mixed with a big dose of #PostRock. For me it sounds like Mono has gone very dark, but kept the spark.
Wiem, że na Strefie piszę o grach raczej sporadycznie, ale tutaj musiałem rzucić trzy grosze. Bethesda rozesłała dzisiaj maila z informacją, że DooM: The Dark Ages zostało oficjalnie zweryfikowane na Steam Decku. Czy to ważne info? Oczywiście, że tak! Tak duży gracz jak Bethesda pisze o DooM na Steam Decku i chwiali się poprawnym działaniem. Jeśli inne studia pójdą w ich ślady, to być może w końcu Linux zostanie zauważony w branży! 🐧

If this was a #DOOM level I would absolutely assume that the birds were a ceiling texture and not waste time trying to get onto those roof ledges
BTW, there's a port of #DOOM to 16-bit Real Mode #MSDOS, i.e 8086 / 286 / 386. The developer sqpat has practically rewritten the game in assembly language and it achieves playable framerates even on a 286: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmDWH_pMDAQ
