Expecting to start medication for the still-worsening new diabetes. Appointment on Thursday, had blood test last week, it’s jumped two points in three months after rising by six in a year. Whoops.

Hoping for similar effectiveness as I had while I was taking it (they’d given it to me for PCOS and it cleared my foggy head from the weird new slumps I’d been getting).
I only just saw on the older blood tests that it was also improving my hormone levels which is annoying since that second doctor took me off it in his wisdom of “who wants too many meds at your age” while I was taking all of one.
And then had the “omg, feel ill” episode in a bookshop who kindly gave me tea and biscuits halfway through a talk by Tom Cox.

So far, I'm not aware of a Mobi insulin pump lasting a year. My first one was replaced after 6 months. My current one is 6 months old, though so far no problems.
They all seem to have a common failure mode: Piston drive starts failing and can no longer adequately deliver insulin, especially during a bolus.

Had #blood test and sadly #sugar has risen in a big jump since last year (so has #iron.) Will do what I can with the diet, it’s been tricky with no oomph all year plus two flares of the lower back pain.
I’ve already reduced sugary stuff and the supplements that alerted me to something going on (making me tired).

How about waiting for peer review before publishing an article that may just add to the incredible amount of misinformation about #diabetes out there.
