This is going to be quite an interesting weekend ahead. #StormEmilia will be hitting the Canaries with lots of strong winds and heavy rainfall, never mind the massive tidal force of the ocean, so we will have to wait and see the kind of damage that will be inflicted upon. Looking into the weather forecast, it looks like the south of the island will be hit, but not too bad. Either way, here's a snap shot of one of my favourite views (CampoInternacional & its golf course) announcing the calm before the storm hits ... I'll be keeping my fingers crossed the damage won't be too bad 🤞🏻😅

The US was 7-1-4 & scored 9 points & only gave up 3 points in the Sunday singles matches but they spotted Europe too much of a lead (behind 7 points at 12-5) after the 1st 2 days of Foursome & Fourball matches.
So, Europe was able to hold on to win & retain the Ryder Cup Championship by a score of 15-12.
At least the US finally showed up in the singles matches & was able to at least keep the tournament in doubt late into the afternoon at the end of the 10th match to avoid a blow out.👏👏👏
Here it is folks, every car I've ever owned. The newest is either the Citroen Xantia estate or the Ledbury Maestro, both from 1997. Still haven't owned a car from this century.
I hated this car. When I bought it I hoped it was going to be like my old Polo and it kind of was. I never bonded with it, didn't like the driving position and just generally found it unpleasant. As luck would have it, I swapped it in a convoluted way for a car I really wanted...
Recently divested from the #Peacock branded #NBC mothership, MGMT at #MSNBC announce new name in corporate split from National Broadcasting Service. The left leaning editorialized cable news network, that once took on the MS in a 90s era partnership with #Microsoft , now is being divested by #Comcast and will become #MSNOW aka My Source News Opinion World owned by Versant.
Versant is a holding company created in the effort to spin off cable channels with fading revenues from core #NBCUniversal assets. The Comcast CEO's family wound up personally owning 33% of the joint venture.
Somehow #Versant owned #CNBC will be allowed to retain its current branding sans any #Peacocks in its logo, as will E! And USA Network. Earlier this month, #NBCSports and it's new separate holding co partner Versant renewed their joint broadcast rights to United States #Golf Association (#USGA) championships through 2032, with the Versant operated #USANetwork and #GolfChannel continuing to serve as the cable tv home of the events post-split.
In other #cable#sports broadcasting news is the creation of something called #GlobalNetworks, basically another possibly botched biz decision by David Zaslav's awkward WB/HBO/Discovery empire to split off the #Turner#TNTsports#broadcasting assets that currently hold the live #BroadcastRights to such iconic sports events as :
