Apple just released its new iPhone 17 series, including the brand’s thinnest iPhone yet. During its Apple event, the tech giant debuted many new wearables and smartphones from its Cupertino, California, headquarters today during its “Awe Dropping” product showcase. These include the iPhone 17 launch, the Apple AirPods Pro 3 earbuds, an all-new lineup of watches like the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and more. The largest announcement today, by far, can be found in the brand’s iPhone lineup: Apple debuted the 5.6mm-thick Apple iPhone Air, its thinnest iPhone ever.
In addition to unveiling the latest and thinnest iPhones, the company debuted many different wearables, including the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple AirPods Pro 3. Apple AirPods Pro 3
The latest pair of AirPods have officially arrived. Apple just debuted the AirPods Pro 3, which feature the signature AirPods design and plenty of new upgrades. According to Apple, they now offer up to two times the active noise cancellation of the Apple AirPods Pro 2 and up to four times that of the Apple AirPods Pro. It’s partially thanks to the foam-infused tips underneath the hood, per Apple, the Pro 3s are the best pair of noise-canceling AirPods to date.
Apple Airpods Pro 3 offer real time live language translation capabilities using Apple Intelligence and other built-in AI features, called Live Translate. Activated by hand gestures, this new AI-powered feature allows you to hear the language a person is speaking in real time. If two people are wearing AirPods, you can have a full conversation in real time. If the person doesn’t have an iPhone, no worries; the AirPods can also pair with an iPhone to translate what you say in your language into written, translated text on the phone screen.
Airpods Pro 3 also offer an enhanced, sturdier fit that offers five ear tips sizes, up from four. And they are IP57 sweat-resistant and safe to use “in a downpour,” per Apple. The updated AirPods are optimized for tracking workouts, with 50-plus pre-programmed exercises and the ability to track metrics like heart rate and step counts.
The Airpods Pro 3 also offer better battery life than earlier versions, increasing from six hours of battery life with ANC on to eight hours with ANC on. Additionally, for users who use Apple’s signature Hearing Aid, you can expect to use them for up to 10 hours of runtime using transparency mode.

Apple Watch Series 11
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook just announced the latest Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Series 11 is the thinnest and “most durable” Apple Watch ever, with “two-times more scratch resistant” glass. The Watch now offers 5G cellular connectivity and features the latest WatchOS26.
The new Watch face offers an Exactograph display, making it easier than ever to tell the exact time at a glance, and the watch itself has myriad new and improved health tracking features. This includes a special focus on high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. The Series 11 Apple Watch can now alert wearers to issues of chronic hypertension thanks to an algorithm that synthesizes 30 days’ worth of data it gleans from a wearer’s wrist. The company anticipates finding as many as one million undiagnosed cases of hypertension in the first year of the new watch’s release.
Apple Watch Series 11 also adds a new “Sleep Score” feature that offers advanced tracking of a user’s sleep, giving informative and actionable information about the person’s sleep cycles and habits. It’s designed to improve your sleep habits to help you get a good night’s rest.
The Apple Watch Series 11 can last up to 24 hours of battery life per charge, and it will come in four aluminum case colors and three in titanium. The company has also added multiple new watch bands, including one in partnership with Hermes. The watch will start at $399 and shipping begins September 19. Pre-order begin today.
Apple Watch SE
The Apple Watch SE also received a major upgrade. The newest Apple Watch SE 3 has the S10 Apple Watch chip. The watch now offers the Always On display, and it will now support many gesture-related commands. And it still has fall and crash detection abilities.
A new wrist temperature sensor allows for deeper insights via Apple’s Vitals app, and if you’re trying to conceive or just monitor your cycles, you can now do so via the Cycle Tracking app.
The latest Apple Watch SE will give you a Sleep Score to help you learn and better understand your sleep habits. When the Sleep Apnea feature is turned on, the watch can now monitor and help alert you if you experience the condition.
The Apple Watch SE 3 has a built-in speaker, and it now offers an all-day, 18-hour battery life and can charge up to eight hours of battery in just 15 minutes. It offers 5G connectivity and WatchOS26. While you can pre-order it now, shipping begins September 19. It costs $249.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is the latest rugged smartwatch by Apple. New enhancements include Apple’s signature Always On display. It now offers a wider viewing angle of the OLED screen. The display is not only the largest ever in an Apple Watch, but it’s also the sturdiest; it’s now up to four times more resistant to cracks and damage than the Apple Watch Ultra 2 thanks to a “proprietary grade of Ion-X glass,” according to the brand.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 keeps its ability for satellite connectivity for contact when users are away from cellular or Wi-Fi signals. The new antennae can communicate with satellites up to 800 miles above the earth. Additionally, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 now uses 5G cellular connectivity for faster download speeds. It’s also important for it to cellular connections, as 5G is more power efficient and elongates the battery life.
The Watch Ultra 3 watch now gets up to 42 hours of battery life with normal use, and up to 72 hours with normal use in Low Power Mode. Like the Apple Watch SE 3, just 15 minutes of charging gets you eight hors of battery life in a pinch. It comes in two colorways, too, Natural and Black. There are also new bands for Apple Watch Ultra 3.

Apple iPhone 17
The latest Apple iPhone called the Apple iPhone 17 has a 6.3-inch display with the thinnest bezels to date. The screen has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and the always-on display slows to one hertz to save battery when the phone is not in active use.
A 3,000 nits display is visible even in full sunlight, while the screen is protected by Ceramic Shield 2, the most scratch-resistant surface ever found on an iPhone screen. The seven-layer screen is also glare-resistant.
An Apple A19 chip powers the iPhone 17, which has an updated display engine and improved neural engine built for Apple Intelligence, Apple’s in-house AI. The 5-core GPU of the newest iPhones also represent a huge boost in processing speed. Apple’s operating system software, iOS26, comes to the iPhone 17. The brand says it’s the latest and fastest operating system yet offered on an iPhone.
The iPhone 17 features an all-day battery life, and a 10-minute wired charge can give up to 10 hours of battery life. Charging for 20 minutes can get you up to 50% battery life, too.
As for the iPhone 17 camera, there’s an upgraded 48MP Dual Fusion camera system on the back. A 2X optical telephoto lens and a Fusion Ultrawide camera can not only capture more detail than ever, but also capture them at more unique angles than ever, according to Apple. The newest iPhone’s front camera, meanwhile, now has an upgraded Center Stage 18MP front camera and a wider field of view. According to the brand, the lens features a larger-than-ever and more versatile aspect ratio, meaning you can now take portrait or landscape photos without needing to rotate the phone. The videos also offer upgraded video stabilization for capturing smoother videos.
The iPhone 17 starts with 256GB storage capacity and begins at $799. Pre-orders begin Friday, and shipping begins September 19.
Apple iPhone Air
The newest member of the iPhone family is the Apple iPhone Air, the slimmest iPhone ever. It’s only 5.6mm thick, weights 165 grams and sports a sturdy, titanium frame. According to Apple, the new design exceeds the company’s “bend strength” requirements.
This ultra-slim iPhone uses the A19 Pro chip and a 6-core GPU. It offers neural accelerators in each GPS core that can readily handle data-intensive AI data crunching. Apple iPhone Air’s N1 Apple chip will offer the best connectivity ever, with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 included, too.
The iPhone Air’s 6.5-inch display features the Super Retina XDR display and can hit up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It also has three times the scratch resistance of earlier iPhones thanks to Ceramic Shield protecting the back, while Ceramic Shield 2 protects the front of the display.
iPhone Air’s camera features a 48MP Fusion Main Camera with a 2x telephoto lens, which according to the company is the equivalency of carrying four lenses in your pocket. The camera has a large sensor that allows for good photo and video capture in low light, and the camera can effectively recreate four camera lenses with the rear system. The front camera offers both better image clarity and better stability than ever, too.
And, if you find it to be a must-have, Apple’s Camera Control button, which allows you to quickly snap photos without unlocking and navigating to your camera app, comes to this model of iPhone, along with an Action button. For videographers, the lenses offer a 4K, 60 fps that use Dolby Vision.
Apple iPhone Air also has optimized eSIM technology that can work with all sorts of carriers around the globe without the need for changing a physical SIM card within the phone.
The iPhone Air will offer all day battery life, and it uses an Adaptive Power Mode that learns your use habits and will reduce power use when you are least active, extending the phone’s battery life. In total, the device offers up to 27 hours of video playback and can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
The iPhone Air comes in four colors: Sky Blue, Cloud White, Space Black and Light Gold. It starts at $999. Pre-0rders start this Friday, and the device begins shipping September 19.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro And Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max
The new Apple iPhone 17 Pro and Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max are officially here. Like the previous generation of iPhone 16 Pros, the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max are the same device in different sizes. The iPhone 17 Pro uses a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch display. Both models are made largely from a solid anodized aluminum for extra durability and protection against drops and scrapes.
The phone uses an A19 Pro chip which features a 6-core CPU. The new chipset means the iPhone 17 Pro is up to 40% more powerful for using Apple Intelligence and performing other heavy-duty tasks than was the iPhone 16 Pro. Ceramic Shield 2 now protects the back and front of the phone, which internally features an all-new sealed internal vapor chamber for mobile gaming.
The iPhone 17 Pro has the “highest performing” antenna system ever used in an iPhone. An eSIM model of the iPhone 17 offers more battery life than ever, offering up to 39 hours of video playback per charge.
While the new front camera of the iPhone 17 Pro offers an 18MP lens, all three of the rear cameras are Dual Fusion 48MP lenses with an up to 8X zoom, the longest on any iPhone to date. Both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max feature a 4X optical telephoto lens and enhanced sensors, including one that is 56% larger than sensors in earlier iPhone models. The mix of optical and digital zoom capabilities offer the equivalent of eight different lenses in one phone.
The anodized aluminum exterior of the iPhone 17 Pro comes in three colorways, Cosmic Orange, Silver and Deep Blue. The iPhone 17 Pro will sell for $1,099, the same introductory price of iPhone 16 Pro in 2024. What’s different this year? The iPhone Pro Max will now offer a 2 TB model.
While the Apple iPhone 17 starts at $1,099, the Apple iPhone Pro Max starts at $1,199 for the 256GB models. Pre-orders start September 12 and shipping begins September 19.
