Trai to complete digital consent pilot by February

A pilot project for digital consent acquisition is set for completion by February 2026. This initiative aims to secure customer consent for promotional messages. Banks and financial institutions will migrate to a new numbering plan. Additional measures include mandatory whitelisting of links and callback numbers. Lists of blacklisted spamming entities will be published.
