There are 195 countries in the world. Trump is currently threatening military action against Venezuela and Greenland (part of Denmark).

Why these two countries?

Today is a very good day in my life as a YouTuber. For the second time I had a video cross 80,000 views today, which is a lot for a small channel like mine.

Last year was really difficult, because I only had moderate growth on the channel. But in the spring of 2025, things started to turn. I first had two videos get close to 40,000 views, and now my two latest videos have crossed 80,000.

This does not earn me a living yet — far from it — but it certainly makes me hopeful for the future.

In my lifetime, China has not dared to attack Taiwan.

But in 2022 Putin invaded Ukraine — a war for which the EU countries have reserved a considerable part of their budgets and attention.

Then voters of the US elected an incompetent president who has zero understanding of military strategy; and he now wants to attack Venezuela with the risk of getting the US bogged down in a wider South American war.

If that happens, I fear China moves on Taiwan, knowing they will never get a better chance.

I just don't get the YouTube algorithm. My view count on the last five videos are all over the place:

2,500 views

I find this weird because some of the videos are extremely similar in quality, presentation, length, etc., yet they yield wildly different view counts.

So I looked up @anderspuck
and he has experienced similar inconsistencies.

I really wish that I could publish through a medium that was not such a roll of the dice every time.

Imagine that a cease-fire would be implemented along current frontlines and it would hold for several years, Ukraine would become a EU member, economic integration with the EU would follow which would be beneficial to the union as a whole. Just like snake owners in the US will feed dead mice to their snakes, several Danish zoos have a program where people can hand in, say a goat, a rabbit or a chicken, which is then humanely euthanized before fed to the lions and other zoo predators.

3 months ago I wrote the post in picture 1 asking if anyone could help me translate a phrase into English, and asked if @HarriettMB could help.

This has turned up on Bluesky where the post is incorrectly linking to Harriett's profile, as if I am some creep talking smack about her.

Surprised, Harriett has asked me about this, but I have been away from my phone, and now she has blocked me.

Could someone please help clear this up?

Update: Harriett has unblocked me and we are handling it.

NATO is now taking part in inflating the Trump disinformation bubble. Here is Secretary General Rutte on Fox News claiming that Trump is respected by allied world leaders.

In reality, everyone is laughing at Trump's naivete, narcissism, and fraile ego, but apparently the European strategy is to please the manbaby to keep the weapons flowing.

This way, Putin loses, and come the midterms Trump loses too.

But Europe wins the long game.
