Trump thinks the plan to help convicted felon Jair Bolsonaro escape from Brazil worked, and appears to tell the press that Bolsonaro is coming to the US to meet Trump.

As a kid, I learned English from English language cartoons on FilmNet. I learned from German TV shows. My passion for Swedish crime series taught me Swedish.

But now, the largest tv medium of our time, YouTube, has begun auto-translating everything. Future generations will not be exposed to foreign languages and be inspired to take an interest.

There was no public review of this, no democratic vote. One company just decided to turn foreign cultures off and make the world dumber.

I’ve just launched the Gaza Verified Emergency Appeal to get our remaining 8 families who are stuck in the danger zone in the North to relative safety in the South.

To kick things off, I’ve made a personal donation of $1,000.

Denmark is transitioning to electric cars and it happens fast.

Out of 2,900,000 cars, 467,608 are now electric.

A whopping 180,000 of those were added in just the past 12 months according to the Minister of Taxation, and in August, 69 percent of cars purchased were electric.

The government aims to have 1 million electric cars by 2030. This initiative is promoted by car registration tax exemption and more.

    Microsoft Windows Recall is not mandatory (yet) but starts in the background by default. It can be turned off by typing the following commands with admin rights:

    DISM /Online /Get-Featureinfo /Featurename:Recall

    DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /Featurename:Recall

    This is for your info. It is upto you whether to disable or keep it running. "Recall" refers to the controversial AI-powered feature for Copilot+ PCs. This feature takes periodic screenshots of your screen including everything you type

    Imagine being so drunk on the Kool-Aide that you can't listen to someone trying to help your company. Reached out to an executive at a manufacturing company about a security issue, and their reply was: "I'd like to help you. However, in checking out your website it is clear you suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I don't like the guy but he is our President and a refreshing change from a mentally incapacitated do nothing President." Oh well, I tried.

Because Democrats are gaining ground, even in districts Trump won by double digits.     I've noticed something that I think is worth pointing out: pretty much ALL of the pushback I have gotten on LinkedIn over the past few months over stories critical of this administration has come from men in IT. Many of whom no doubt idolize Musk, who in their minds can walk on water.

    Conversely, the response almost universally I've seen from female non/male people in IT and security professionals on LinkedIn has been a great deal more appropriate, i.e. horror, disgust and revulsion for the way this administration is treating federal employees, veterans, the courts, judges, lawyers, journalists, and important, long-standing U.S. policy interests.

    I guess what I'm saying is nobody should expect the men in IT to lead the resistance. So many of them are like this guy: angry, aggressive, and really excited about the good old US of A going back to the 80s. Like the 1880s.

    Cool project: "Nepenthes" is a tarpit to catch (AI) web crawlers.

    "It works by generating an endless sequences of pages, each of which with dozens of links, that simply go back into a the tarpit. Pages are randomly generated, but in a deterministic way, causing them to appear to be flat files that never change. Intentional delay is added to prevent crawlers from bogging down your server, in addition to wasting their time.     Inside of two weeks, SCOTUS has given itself authority to:

    • cancel legislation it doesn't like
    • overrule regulatory bodies it doesn't agree with
    • and after the fact legalize actions taken by a President.

    Given that it's already got final say on the actions of the rest of the judiciary, that now consolidates the power of all three branches of American government under the authority of the Supreme Court.

    In other words? It's a judicial coup.

    Revolutions have been fought over less.
