"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates more than 2 million Americans could benefit from a treatment known as PrEP, but only a quarter of them are getting a form of the drug. Zach Dyer appeared on WAMU’s “Health Hub” on Feb. 4 to share tips patients can use to avoid those pitfalls and find a doctor who knows more about PrEP."

#Google trips over its own words, when they sell you #Android it's the best computing device in the world that does everything. After you bought it Google doesn't let you do anything you want to.
#Sideload is a made-up term. Putting software on your computer is simply called “installing”, regardless of whether that computer is in your pocket or on your desk.
What Do You Talk About When You Talk About Sideloading?
Our games are free and can be shared freely; no DRM.
But, due to the nature of the games, we don't allow changes to the meaning and nature of the narratives.
The games are non-violent, trauma-informed, and designed for ages 11-15. Topics include #consent and #abuse#prevention. We won't allow the games to be adapted into something violent or harmful.
This approach limits our reach - but helps us protect students from harmful content.

Nutraceutical Fruits: Overview and Disease Prevention by Raj K. Keservani, 2025
While nutritional supplements have enormous advantages, food ingredients such as fruits and vegetables can play a significant preventative and therapeutic role in our daily lives. Fruits are found to have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and chemopreventive properties that can boost health, as well as prevent diseases.

Alzheimer's: Prevention Is the Cure by Patrick Holford, 2025
Alzheimer’s is a preventable disease. Less than 1% of cases are caused by genes. We already know how to prevent at least 8 out of 10 cases and cut your risk by at least 80% if not completely for the vast majority of people.
It also tells you the truth about amyloid and p-tau, the targets for ineffective drugs.
Also, which genes do cause Alzheimer’s, which predict increased risk and how to eliminate that risk.
Why Alzheimer’s will not be solved by a drug since it is not caused by one thing but a combination of factors, different for each person, that create the ‘perfect storm’ that leads to brain degeneration and cognitive decline.
How to assess your weakest links that drive future risk.
Exactly how to dementia-proof your diet and lifestyle.

"A top Centers for Disease Control and Prevention official told staff this week to start planning for the agency’s splintering.
Several parts of CDC — mostly those devoted to health threats that aren’t infectious — are being spun off into the soon-to-be-created Administration for a Healthy America, the agency official told senior leaders in calls and meetings."

I'm trying to find a #NGO based in #Paris focusing on teen dating violence and/or consent (IPV).
I will be in Paris April 7th & 8th.
I want to briefly meet & share our free resources & let others know about our unique work to help adolescents. (I'm speaking at Games for Health Europe in Eindhoven & returning via Paris.)
I founded a nonprofit org in 2006.
We hope to collaborate with groups in France -- especially while France is working on issues about #consent.
🎮 We have an innovative program using prosocial video games to engage young people (11 - 23). We want to find a group in France interested in making these games available in French.
👉🏽 I've been interviewed by France24 about our innovative games about consent.
👉🏽 One of our consent games was made into a lifesize exhibit at a museum in Australia.
👉🏽 We worked with WorldVision to create a game about consent for young people in Vanuatu.
🎉 Over 20,000 folks / year learn about consent through our free games.
Please let me know if you have questions -- and please share with groups / instances who might know somebody who knows somebody.
