Hey, I've got two dev roles to fill on the West Coast!
Intermediate web application engineer - React/Typescript/Next.js/Python for APIs. 3+ years experience, B.Sc preferred, this role starts Feb 13.
Intermediate Data(base) Engineer position coming open for March 1st. This role is focused on financial and royalties data. Note this is not an AI/ML/Data Science position, however you may be building data infrastructure for consumption by a couple of data sci's (and honestly any experience in those roles is a bonus). If you have most of the following:
4+ years writing SQL
Experience with pipelining data around the cloud(s) and general orchestration of data collection
Some MySQL and/or Postgres experience
Python
B.Sc+ education
We're a small-ish music company with big brand power. I won't post the roles publicly for a bit, but if you want the full JD or more info on either role, just DM me.
Hello world, it’s me Jer, and I’m looking for WordPress consulting contracts 👩🏻💻
I’d love to help with development, automated testing, or anything else WordPress related, so please get in touch if you have projects that need some help, and if you know someone that needs a website or especially WordPress help, please send them my way.
I just updated my site and added a page with more info about what I can bring to the table: https://jerclarke.org/hire-me/
I'm #hiring a staff engineer to come work on our incredibly ambitious, exciting project that has just entered production. This role would be on the core technology team, building the shared systems that pull together the Unity client in this immersive 4X MMO.
So, I am looking for a job. It's slowly becoming more and more urgent. I need to be able to work remote from within Czechia. Half-time is preferable, but full-time possible. I need about 20 000 - 30 000 CZK income after taxes half time, or 40 000 - 60 000 CZK income after taxes full time. I'm currently starting a math degree at a university, but I can drop that if need be for a full-time job.
I can do a wide assortment of computer-related things, and have extensive experience with programming, Linux, Java tooling, and internals of computer systems (kernel, drivers, system services...), amongst many other things. I code for about 10 years (Java), and admin personal Linux systems for about a similar time as well. I have experience in securing systems. I know a bunch of programming languages really well, and am very adaptable to new languages and paradigms. I am very experienced in delving into a large new unfamiliar codebase and finding my way around them (I've done code hacking on WebKit (CSS, understood most of the media queries implementation with very limited debugging options within about 6 hours) and Firefox (various random things))
I speak English (C1 certified) and Czech (native).
I've made major progress, but I'd love to get some help! If writing an SPI flash driver or USB device implementation is your thing, I would love to hear from you 😀
I'll gladly donate an EV3 set for this. We can do this as a paid project too if that's a better fit. Let's discuss!
@nixCraft I feel obligated to keep it until I find a “real” job, as it is (unfortunately) one of the best resources to that end. Any assistance in that regard would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏻 #FediHired#FediHire#fedijobs
I'm looking for a job. I have 30 years of experience doing complex systems programming in many languages, most recently Typescript, Haskell, and Python. I learn quickly. I can do advanced mathematics.
In 2024 I helped a company migrate 15,000 customers from another company into their own systems.
In 2023 I helped develop a differential privacy database product written in Haskell.
Before that I helped develop a laboratory information management system that tracked up to 40,000 Covid-19 tests per day.
I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, but I have years of success working remotely, and I am also willing to consider relocation.
Hey so I don't know how many people might be seeking a relatively low-paid job* at a very inclusive library in a mildly welcoming town, but my local library is expanding its physical premises and is now also hiring a new library clerk. This position is full time, doesn't require advanced degrees, and comes with good benefits and, if it's like my civil service job, also comes with a guaranteed pay raise of 2-3% every year.
*a bit less than 35K per year
Anyway my upstate NY people please spread this around!
Hey, fediverse! This experienced generalist artist - excelling at pixel art and animation - is currently looking for work. Right now I am looking, mainly, for mid to long term gigs. If you want to see some more of my work, check it out here:
Name is Gabriel, I am generalist artist whose expertise is pixel art and animation. I do a little bit of everything, from VFX to more "traditional" digital illustration. Right now I am looking for more mid to long duration projects, but I may take small gigs if they are interesting enough!
