Inside the White House in the hours after Alex Pretti's shooting. "It is inconceivable to some of his allies that he would alter the underlying aim of the mission," write the team at NBC. "The reality is, you can’t stop what you’re doing," a former White House official told them. "This is the whole point of ICE existing in these cities, and Minnesota is not going to be the last state that ICE goes to. Oregon was next. We were not done. We need to keep going."
@tompowelljr.bsky.social breaks down a SHOCKING behind-the-scenes revelation from House staffers: A bipartisan amendment was passed that BANNED THE DETENTION OF #AMERICAN CITIZENS — and then the #WhiteHouse had it QUIETLY removed BEFORE the bill moved forward... youtu.be/Y3T6bQ2MEk4?...
The White House seems to have admitted that it digitally altered an image of a Minnesota protester's arrest so it looks like she was crying. When @ asked representatives from the Trump administration about an image of Nekima Levy Armstrong, who was arrested for organizing an anti-ICE protest at a church they were directed to a tweet from Kaelan Dorr, the White House deputy communications director. He shared the altered picture and wrote: “Enforcement of the law will continue. The memes will continue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
Unfunny and old. One trick pony throws paper towels from half destroyed #WhiteHouse in a bombastic hallucination with no basis in #oath or facts.

Photographer Christopher Anderson's shots of President Trump's inner circle have created almost as much chatter as the Vanity Fair Susie Wiles interview they accompanied. Anderson's signature closeup style showed every pore, line, and possible lip-filler injection site. Here's what he told @.
The White House is in damage-control mode after Susie Wiles, President Donald Trump's chief of staff, made candid remarks in an interview with Vanity Fair. Wiles described the president as having "an alcoholic's personality" and said her job involved managing his desire for vengeance. She also suggested JD Vance is a calculating "conspiracy theorist" and criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi's handling of the Epstein case. Wiles reacted after the story was published by saying it is a "hit piece" that lacks context. Here's more from @.
After ProPublica reported that the White House intervened on behalf of Andrew Tate, two senators say the behavior “raises grave questions regarding the independence and impartiality of federal law enforcement operations.”
Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Andrew Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.
The White House says inflation has been tamed. With all the U.S. government's access to statistics, what's the basis for this claim? A DoorDash report titled "State of Local Commerce" that doesn't actually state that inflation has been tamed. The Handbasket's Marisa Kabas phoned DoorDash headquarters to find out more.
Y'all...you know I hate casting aspersions on the fine folks at the White House, (looks around to see if anyone is listening, then bends closer to your ear) I mean, I don't want to sound hateful, but I think the staff at the White House are buying Dear Leader darker and darker makeup in the hopes that #ICE will arrest him.
Either that, or the look for Guardians of Pedophiles this year is "I've landed face first in a pile of schmutz."
U.S. President Donald Trump's remodeling of the White House continues with a new look for the Lincoln Bathroom. @abc takes a look inside. (PLEASE put up some blinds or curtains!)
The #WhiteHouse is recognized as a #nationalpark because of its historical significance as the home and office of the president, its role as a symbol of American #democracy, and its value as a #museum of American history. Destroying a U.S. federal #park is against the law, as it is considered #vandalism and destruction of government property. It can lead to severe penalties, including fines and imprisonment, and is prosecuted at the federal level. #NoKings! #newsrewind
The image shows a large, multi-story white building undergoing demolition. A large excavator with "ACCO" visible on the side is positioned in front of a large opening in the building’s wall, surrounded by debris and piles of rubble. A person in orange clothing is visible near the excavator, providing a sense of scale. The building appears to be in a state of partial collapse, with exposed framing and construction materials. The text on the image reads: "Crews demolish part of White House to build Trump’s ballroom."
