As chief cookie devouring creature of the house, it has fallen on me to announce that the girl scout cookie carton collecting for our cupboards has commenced. 🤗
So, it falls to this cookie munchin monster to calculate the cookie carton cramming capacity of our cookie storing cupboards and complete our cookie carton ordering #today. 💪
Hopefully, there will be sufficient space to hold a large enough quantity of cookies to satisfy the cravings of this cookie crunchin monster. 🤞

It’s finally actually Friday!
Hving spent a decent chunk of yesterday convinced it was Friday it’s quite the anti-climax to have it delivered to my door!
Admittedly it’s in a sorry state, it’s sprung a major leak,all the colour has been washed out of it & to top it all the thing is as cold as a day old haddock!
We are apparently going to my late MiL’s this afternoon for another tidying up session, Mrs S has wangled a ½ day off. This is instead of not as well as going over during the weekend.

the week continues, as i said #today to my girlfriend, and more must be done: financial arrangements, document registration, bank transfers, disclosures. but my heart belongs at the bloco, glitter-clad, thronged and delirous, hoarse of voice, as the whole shout-sings songs all know in blood and marrow. carnaval comes, i tell myself, locked to my desk, typing yet another reminder email. carnaval comes.

We kept some from our Thanksgiving day feasting n froze em for some later day hankering, and that day of hankering has arrived. 💪
So, i have mustered the motivation to mozy out to the kitchen and collect one from the freeser to allow it to sit n thaw a bit before tossing it into the airfryer for warming n toasting to crunchy skin crispness. 👍😋
I'm not sure what to have with it. Probably, a properly seasoned side of veggies or something healthy like that. 🤔

It was cold last night (well, about 0°C) and this morning one of the cats my hb usually feeds followed him home - obviously ready to deliver her kitten! She searched the garage of the building for a good place, my hb found her an old basket and put her first in the ground floor of the staircase, but due to the cold he just came and said he took her in the house. let's hope she won't fight with our other cats. The idea of her in the cold outside was not bearable. #CatsOfFediverse#today
#today is two days before we go to the beach. Go to see a friend of my wife’s in Sihanoukville. It takes the van all day to get there and some blogging too.
But now it’s earlier. Now I sit at a favored coffee spot for the wonderful warmed almond croissant and coffee. I’ll walk first and then take my wife out for some meal. I only eat one a day now so it’s some combination of lunch and dinner. With beer.
For now it’s this time to journal and think. My wife putters around the house. Trying different clothes she will pack and likely not wear. I take the usual. Dressing here is forever summer. Shorts, t shirt and some walking shoes that have lasted.

Something I did yesterday late afternoon seems to have accidentally startled Tennessee, and he spent a lot of the past 24 hours hiding out, not even tempted by treats. But we seem to be back to normal now, as he's returned to my desk and is purring his heart out.
And a bit earlier, on my bed, he was climbing on my chest and giving me head butts, but I can't get a photo of that.
It was a bit of a struggle to ignore the hollerings from Heather to get up n moving this morning.
But ever determined, I endeavored to persevere. 👍😁
But soon, the morning sunshine started urging me, too. So I finally gave in and staggered out in search of coffee to join the sun brighly shining through my sitting n sipping window. ☀️☕️👌
Upon pulling open the curtains to start #myday of sitting, I discovered a lovely surprise sitting on my window shelf. A bunch of little red cherry tomatoes on the bush just sitting pretty and staring at me. 🤗
So, I took their picture to toot to ya #today, to share this happy surprise starting #myday.

While at the shop today taking photos of my Scold, I realized we really DO have a lot of oddball stuff. I've unfortunately become immune to just how cool they are because I've had time to play with them, ha! However, others do not have that privilege.
