🎵 Phibes - Get the Fuck Up
Testing some test lighting variants with audio input and got a bit carried away. Nearly fell over the chair at one point. Think I need to work on my cardio.
Perf not bad for a laptop 3070 GPU!
Another experiment with my POINTS library. This is basically an old physarum/slime demo I made a while ago, but rebuilt with compute shaders, particles and a lot more efficient than before.
Wow, what an awesome, challenging and time consuming prompt.
Starting with the ellipse for the head and the eyes it began to make a lot of fun. So, I added this and that. And more and more detail.
The hair was the most difficult part. By hand it's just some fast strokes but with code it was a challenge. But I stopped here.
This was a challenging one for me, since I usually use lots of color. I went with an "*" as the shape and played with transparency, size, and movement.
Genuary 2026 Day 11: "Quine. A Quine is a form of code poetry, it’s a computer program that outputs exactly its own source code."
For this one, I'm going to cheat a bit, and share an old piece. It's a python script titled "Self-Drawing Code", and it generates an image from the character string of it's own code. https://kristinhenry.github.io/selfDrawingCode/
For this one, I sampled pixels in a photo of myself wearing an Axolotl suit at City Hall. I did this in two runs: one at very low resolution and then another in slightly higher resolution in just the area with me in it.
I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming solo exhibition, 𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘤 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.
