I just had what might be the dumbest idea I've ever thought of, the Linux randomizer.

Symlinking every binary on your system to some random other binary, I'd probably have to blacklist a few otherwise I don't think the system would even boot

    I know a lot of people don't like the direction of AI but people need to take there heads out the sand and stop pretending like it's never going to be good enough to replace you. All you're doing is hurting the people who are going to be effected by giving them false hope.

    @aral I have been undecided for a while but I've come to the conclusion that we should not let Meta into the Fediverse. Let them do their own thing and interoperate with ActivityPub as anyone else can but DO NOT give them any control over our platform. If they come to our project then they must do so on our terms.

    I was wondering.... I know of myself that I'm a night owl. I love being awake during the night as things are more calm for me then... I sleep during late afternoon and evening and am awake during the night, morning and part of the afternoon...

    But am I an exception?

    I know I can do this because I have no work obligations. I know that work often requires you to adhere to a steady routine where the work hours are honorated.
    But if you don't work, or if you could choose the hours, how would your routine look like?

    I only made two options. Sleep during the "normal" night and different.
    I've added a "different and comment" one for people who would like to elaborate. Maybe they want to have a different routine, but they can't due to work... So they need to have a "normal" routine but they'd prefer the different one...
    I'll add an option where you can just see the results.
    But I hope that you'll vote (and maybe also boost? 😊).

    Do you consider the term "rice" or "ricer" to be racist?

    The Wikipedia definition seems to indicate it has origins as a racist term and I've never understood why unix users have adopted this terms instead of something benign like "themes" or "theming" which I remember being in use long before I ever heard "rice". So what gives? Why use "rice" instead of "theme"?
