Happy ilovefs day, for me a big thanks to all the make it possible to run Haiku with many ports from several opensource projects (major ones being Haiku, KDE and Qt here).
This is an alpha of LibreOffice running in Firefox.
This is made possible by WebAssembly (WASM).
LibreOffice was compiled to WASM using Emscripten. It is rendered by Qt & cairo into a HTML canvas element. https://wasm-test.libreoffice.org/
I talk about my history with Linux and KDE and what I've done over the years, going through my work as a documentation contractor for KDE until I reach the current state of KDE onboarding docs.

WIP, as mentioned in previous post, preparing scripts for the KDE gear 25.08 update, I think I got most covered, at least for gaming I got plenty around to keep me occupied. 😇
Honestly, I just want to use whatever most of the native KDE Plasma apps use, and that mainly seems to be Qt. The other UI frameworks weren't as good or reliable afaik. Now that you mentioned Slint, I took a look at it, and it seems pretty solid.
I’ve just deposited some Python code in a public codeberg repo 🚀
The modules are designed to simplify GUI creation with PySide6 (Qt), specifically tailored for handling quantities (with uncertainties). Perfect for anyone working on scientific or engineering applications where precision matters.
Developing Qt apps with Rust
I want to develop apps using Qt and Rust. What are my options?
