Morning Mastodonians!

We had a pretty good weekend, doing many typical New England kinds of things, like apple picking, beer drinking and football watching. The weather was spectacular throughout, which helped. We didn't need another (expensive!) bag of apples, but you can't just go to the beer barn, right? And nothing like a fresh McIntosh picked right off the tree. Also got a few Macoun and Cortlands. I did some foster cat stuff too. Pretty typical.

I considered taking as a random vacation day, but I didn't complete the paperwork. I think I will take next Monday and Tuesday off. I don't get National Indigenous Day off as a holiday but everyone else in the household does, so I might as well join the party. One daughter is heading off to for the long weekend but we don't have any plans ourselves. I wonder if I could convince my wife to take a road trip, even if just for a day or two.
