Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja cofounded Emtek in 1983 as the exclusive Compaq computer distributor in Indonesia; he has a majority stake.
Formerly known as Elang Mahkota Teknologi, Emtek controls three Indonesian TV channels, SCTV, Indosiar and MOJI.
His son Alvin Sariaatmadja is president director of Emtek.
Emtek has collaborated with Alibaba's Ant Financial for Dana, a digital payment system in Indonesia.
Emtek's digital banking arm Super Bank Indonesia, better known as Superbank, is raising up to $183 million in an IPO in December 2025.
