About Roots to Thrive
Roots to Thrive is Canada’s first multidisciplinary, non-profit healthcare practice offering evidence-informed, multi-week group therapy programs, including psychedelic-assisted therapy (if prescribed by licensed medical professional). Our program was born from a collaboration of caregivers, curriculum designers, Indigenous elders, and experts, dedicated to addressing trauma and promoting resilience. Guided by principles of trauma-informed practice, anti-racism, health promotion, and holistic care, we tackle root causes of illness and reduce stigma while fostering interconnectedness and spiritual health.
At Roots to Thrive, we believe in the power of community and inclusivity to reconnect individuals to their true nature and to each other, creating a supportive environment where profound healing can occur.

RTT has given me tools to connect with others and be present. The small group setting and my buddy have been incredibly supportive. I’ve learned to slow down, notice sensations, and be more self-compassionate. This program has been transformative, and I highly recommend it to other healthcare workers.
