Honestly more fun than I expected.  A big HOWEVER though:  Imagine how classic this would be if they removed all the comedy and gave Day a hairstyle that doesn’t scream 1960s.  Peter Graves is trying to be Joel McCrea and not succeeding.

Sorry folks I loved this poorly received adventure film.  The directly stolen Treasure of Sierra Madre stuff quickly followed by a suspiciously similar Wages of Fear scene had me transfixed.   Cooper is way too old for the part but he’s good.  Him and his elderly side kick Ward Bond are definitely too old for this shit. Stanwyck nearly orgasmic on horseback is fun.  And Anthony Quinn is so rich and damned charming it’s hard to imagine any woman cheating on him.  The silly old dialogue during the love triangle stuff just makes me more fond of this.

Cheap 60s colorful thriller.  It’s easy to make fun of.  the party ship with a bunch of dancing college student douche bags.  that thing on the doctor’s face that’s supposed to be a bruise.  Jellyfish that are just plastic bags.  

what I liked:  the girls are all cute in a swinging sixties way.  And the doctor has a badonkadonk.  When he shows up in short shorts I was speechless.

Loved watching this a a time capsule to a time and place that looked like fun
