It just means that when "distracted", perception of time changes. For example, doing something you hate tends to feel like it took more time than something you enjoy.
Yeah, one of our problems was rain and thick fog causing massive drops and even disconnects on the connection going out from the router as 2.4Ghz really doesn't like water. The antenna on our side was fine for sending signals back we just couldn't get it stable incoming, which is why we did the can trick.
Depending on where in the world it's still mostly true for shows and music as well. Although they've been losing their near-monopoly, just look at how popular Korean entertainment is now compared to even a decade ago.
With how much these idiots project, all I get from that statement is that he eats a lot of cake.
And he doesn't want to stop eating cake, just eat less. It's almost as if he can't grasp the concept that some people already can't afford to regularly eat cake.
It's like "flushable wet wipes", the manufacturers are basically lying. In that you can dispose of them just like you can technically flush the wipes. But it is bad to do so.
Everyone should stay faar away from anything calling itself a militia, even if it was originially done ironically. It is basically a self-fulfilling prohpecy and it will attract the wrong type of people.
If you actually want to learn, contact your nearest competetive shooting club. They usually have "open days" where people can come in and try guns while learning some of the basics.

Double clicking with the mouse on a word usually selects the whole word with the space after, very nice for copy-pasting.
Double clicking on the selected word will sometimes select the whole line(In some applications it actually selects up to the newline marker, so it will grab multiple lines if resized smaller).

It's narcissism. The driving force behind conservatism as a whole, is narcissism. They all think they're the special individual that will get special treatement. Hence the whole "leopards eating faces" thing.
Based on the drop in Safari usage on mobile and desktop, and the increase in Firefox and Opera usage. I'm sort of assuming they swapped over to use the builtin VPN in opera or an extension in Firefox to bypass the blocks.

A 1999 comic book by manga artist Ryo Tatsuki has been fuelling these rumours. In a new edition released in 2021, she claimed the next big earthquake would strike on 5 July this year.
It's called "The Future I Saw", with diary entries and is "based on a dream". One of the covers had a big disaster happening in 2011. That's the year Fukushima was hit with a tsunami.
A lot of superstition has arisen around it, causing tourism to drop off recently. And flights from Hong Kong to Japan have been massively reduced, and one airline even halted their flights there as of a week ago.
My favorite part is how people in the public eye who present end-of-days predictions always have some weird excuse after the fact. As was beautifully parodied in Parks and Rec.
In this case there have been impersonators, and the original author has no connection to a lot of the newer stuff. She is not trying to cash in or play things up, which is a wonderful contrast to a lot of people who claim to be doomsday predictors.
The varroa mite has been blamed for years. It's been a growing issue for decades. And scientists found out in the 80s and 90s that you can use formic acid to treat for them, instead of any commercial miticide.
Yes, they have literally been following 1930s Germany, and people have been warning about it for months. Meanwhile the average American still roll their eyes and call it alarmist.
The way things are going, they're going to remove the citizenship of that NYC mayoral candidate, then Trump Tower will burn allá the Reichstag fire of 1933. Which goes into mass arrests, detention without trial in camps to remove opposition, and open the door for labor and exterminations camps.
You even have Musk as Röhm, an ally who played a big role in him being elected and being a leader figure for many of the younger and rabid followers, then a falling out with whispers of opposition and fears of a losing political control. So the Night of the Long Knives probably isn't too far away.
Republican Alaskan Senator Lisa Murkowski said Tuesday that despite voting in favor of the sweeping tax and spending package, she wants the House to return the "One Big Beautiful Bill" to the Senate for further work. ...
Long story short is that America has literally been going through "First they came for ..." for months now.
I can already see the headlines from later this year and the next, about how "no one could see it coming" and "why didn't anyone warn me(better)". You can actually just go to communities making fun of pro-brexit folk and see the same quotes from them afterwards.
Once you've met a few CEOs, you quickly realize that most of them literally don't use or even get close to their own product unless someone else is showing them.
The masons and other specialized workers were paid, and there is a theory that many of the laborers living near Giza were paid, but no one actually knows if they were. What is known, is that slaves were used in that era, and thinking they weren't at least used in transportation of materials is naive.
That's why they go to Huntington Park, not South Central. Same reason they arrest cancer stricken children in courthouses instead of dangerous criminals. Because they're cowardly bullies who don't want anyone fighting back. And the one time they tried going into lower income immigrant community, they were chased out by the locals.
People who talk like that have only seen pictures from the show, or they watched it a little bit when they were a child and don't remember 99%.
Because Xena and Gabrielle did pretty much everything except the physical deeds. And it was recently confirmed in a comic, where they kiss and say they love eachother.
Hell, you could probably show them the old show with the parts set in modern times and they'd blow their gasket. Becase the reincarnations are the opposite genders for a while.
It's worth it if you can view it with the mindset that it's intentionally silly/"camp". For a very basic comparison: It's in a similar style to shows like Buffy or Charmed, just more self-aware.
Although it has to be said: It was technically a spinoff from Hercules, and there are crossover episodes. But that show is not nearly as good, for a multitude of reasons. And it got to the point where Kevin Sorbo(Hercules) is still salty about how a lot of the crew went over to Xena. He has even accused Lucy Lawless on social media of "stealing" crew from his show. To which she just laughs and mocks him, like she regularly does when he says stupid things.

You seem to be missing one major piece of information: They don't care.
The more conservative someone is, the more selfish they are and less empathy they have. Most MAGAs are so far up their own ass that if you told them this, they'd roll their eyes and laugh at you. Because in their mind, nothing bad can happen to them. And if something like this did happened, they'd instantly start screaming about a false flag and want to arrest all democrats. You can't explain to them that they're wrong, or the potential dangers of their actions, because they 100% will not believe you. They only understand actions or mockery.
TL;DR: You're basically trying to convince Narcissus that he's not that good looking.
It would heavily depend on context and the situation. And in addition to the other replies, I think it would differ based on if Frieren was alone or traveling with someone, and who that was.
If she and Fern met them at a resturant, things might work out. But I don't think there would be much left of them if she met them alone on a remote path. At that point she'd probably attack first and ask questions later. Although she might hesitate to harm him in the process. So yeah, it depends on how they meet and if she or someone else with her can detect the difference.
That website calls it a "router board". It's a small single-board computer with two ports. So it's perfect to use as a small router, but it is not sold as one.
Not even just that they wrote laws to protect their status: A two party system is in and of itself prone to issues like what is currently going on. George Washington knew that, and warned about its dangers. Because it has happened multiple times throughout history.
Because it will cause major issues, people will demand a replacement, and a private company owned by someone who bribed Trump will swoop in and "save" everyone with a subpar solution that is worse and cost more.
Paywall it for short term gain, at the expense of long term viewership growth.
Making a company worse for increased short term revenue, at the cost of customer retention, product quality, etc. causing increased turnover which further compounds all the other steps. Is a common issue among all modern companies.
In short, there was a shift in MBA education a while back that includes a bunch of lies-by-omission and misrepresented data. Meaning that the only thing on their mind when they graduate, is to please investors at any all costs, including company longevity.
