I am avoiding Halloween entirely, although it's everywhere. I visited my favourite games site, and software download site and everything was spooky and witchy. Nothing normal.
We have never had trick or treat kids round here in all the years we have lived here, so I hope that continues, but our undecorated yard and the curtains drawn should be a hint to them.

Thursday has been a bit mean to me, because I didn't get up at crack of sparrows fart it turned the power off just as I got into the kitchen & kept it off for 30 minutes!
Hats off to the Northern Powergrid engineer who fixed the fault well within the specified repair window we got though!
Not a lot on today, although I do have to take Mrs S to the hospital for an appointment later - nothing serious thankfully.

@MAJ1weirdfolks group I have the fan which has been running all day and night. It helps, but not much. Opening the window is an invitation to all the insects, and last night also a cat !

I’m not at all sure what is currently ailing me & neither are the local GPs, who have decided that since I’m not exhibiting any symptoms of anything they might worry about that they are not going to worry about it full stop. I think I need to find me a good horse doctor! :-

@MAJ1weirdfolks group I am disgusted by the doctor's attitude. You need a second opinion, even by going into ER and getting some advice there. I don't know, but someone has to take notice and I pray there will be an answer.

I heard a vicious rumour that it’s Thursday, I’m working on the theory that it may or may not be based on whether I choose to open my eyes & observe it!
A really rough night last night, the Manaria decided that if I was going to hit it with pain killers it would get me back with hot sweats & weird sensations.

Ok I’m a bit late for the morning post, but in my defense, & I suggest regular Squirrel fans sit down for this, I’ve been out in the garden working on the pond!
I need to de-populate th triffid bed that filters the water because they is big & bad & taking over - it’s like 70% triffid 30% gravel at the moment! Also there has been a persistent leak which I think is due to the plants pushing the water level up.
I’ll write this all up tonight in my diary, for those who want more!

So I’ve been an exceptionally good squirrel today & , in view of the bright sunshine I’ve give the washing machine a thorough cleaning and put it on a maintenance wash.
So of course the sun is now hidden behind clouds 🤔🙄
