While talking about datacenters and power with my youngest son, who’s an economist at a construction services company, I had the most brilliant trillion dollar idea: natural gas powered fuel cells in place of server power supplies. Instead of those super problematic power cords and PDUs and whatnot, there’s just a gas line running over the cabinets with some flexible gas line running to the back of each server. This is going to be great!

As a kid, I learned English from English language cartoons on FilmNet. I learned from German TV shows. My passion for Swedish crime series taught me Swedish.

But now, the largest tv medium of our time, YouTube, has begun auto-translating everything. Future generations will not be exposed to foreign languages and be inspired to take an interest.

There was no public review of this, no democratic vote. One company just decided to turn foreign cultures off and make the world dumber.

ICE is out of control. They must be reined in.

A post on X by Paris Schutz (@paschutz ), a CBS Chicago reporter, timestamped 23 hours ago, includes a photo of a car with a damaged hood and text overlay. The post reports that journalist Asal Rezaei was doing her job when an ICE agent shot directly at her car today, unprovoked, with chemicals entering through an open window, causing her to feel sick for two hours. It mentions no protester was in sight, and she was simply driving by to check the scene, about 50 feet from the entrance, an area local authorities and news organizations have been monitoring for weeks. The post also notes this incident follows the detention and release of journalist Steve Held the previous day.
