Hello film lovers in The Netherlands,
Thursday, 13 November, the Alliance Française Stedendriehoek/Apeldoorn, has the honour of the pre-première of 'La Femme La Plus Riche Du Monde' (The Richest Women In The World) starring Isabelle Huppert. Best actress of the 21st century (The New York Times).It refers to the Affaire Bettencourt (L'Oréal). I'll introduce the film in Dutch and French. It is a red carpet event!

Great news! Today I finally got my exam results for the course Turkish for beginners. And... I passed with flying colours! I got 8,9 (out of 10). The exam comprised various tests: listening, reading, speaking, writing, idiom and grammar. I'm really chuffed with this. 😃 🥳 🎉

I'm so incredibly honoured and proud that Japanese newspaper The Mainichi has published one of my most powerful and loving haiku ever. Especially in this day and age where transpeople do not feel safe any more and are even losing their jobs and/or fleeing their country.

Please forgive me for temporarily totally losing my cool. I just learned through the Dutch Haiku Association that my haiku got an honourable mention in the 7th Basho-an International English Competition 2024! Getting such recognition in Japan is one of my ultimate 'WOW'- moments!😄
