Good morning everyone ☀️ I'm up early with the parrots again today, and just as well, because I have an ultrasound later and I can't eat or drink anything but black tea or water for 6 hours before it, so my early start at least allows me to have a coffee or two. I can go without food all day no bother, but coffee - never! 😊

Ziggy is currently sitting in my hand happily grumbling away while the sound of Toby crunching pellets and the white noise of the air filters makes me drowsy. I woke up at 1:30 am and never managed to get back to sleep after that, so it's going to be hard not to doze off in a meeting today! Although, I have to drink 1 ltr of water 90 minutes before my appointment so I think I'll probably be dancing instead 😂

Work in a wee while first though as soon as I have Ziggy ( who has now gone down beside me on the couch and is nipping my side and making her "tee hee hee" noises as I squirm ) sorted.

Here's a recent crochet doll that will be given as a gift to a niece for her Christmas by her Auntie. I loved her look and her outfit was just fab. The wee girl is a future fashion designer for sure 🙂

Here is a recent crochet make that I posted earlier this week. His name is Leafhog. I just love the wee boy's imagination and his wonderful design 🤗

Good morning everyone 🌞 I am up early with the parrots today and have just put Ziggy in for breakfast after a brief cuddle session. She was a lot more interested in getting her medicine mix and then "fwowing the spoon to the fwoor" multiple times, each time telling herself she was a "Good bird!" for doing so ☺️ Then we had to have a sword fight with her huge plastic sword. This entails me holding the sword and moving it a bit while going "Grrr!" and her attacking it with gusto. She really loves that sword. If there is one thing she'll consistently chuck about and play with every evening it's the huge plastic sword. Parrots eh? 🙂

Normally Saturday would be an Ethera and Grognak adventure day in BG3, but the new cages are ready ( I ended up doing them yesterday after all), so today will be the cage flitting day for Ziggy and Jadie instead. We'll get them out early and start the process, because there are a couple of things that need to be transferred to the new cages as well as me having to set up the cage lights again.

We also need to give them time to get used to the new layout so we'll need them to be nice and hungry later on to coax them in. Ziggy's new cage will be the most changed due to the food doors being on opposite sides to her current one, but I fully expect Jadie to be the problem child as the slightest change upsets her. It's going to be a mad day anyway.

Some of the Kids' drawings toys I am asked to make are just a riot of colour and imagination 🙂 This recent make is a good example of that. It's supposed to be all one creature, but I worked the pieces separately and joined them via little crochet loops so that the wee boy could play with them individually if he wanted to.
