Here's a recent crochet doll that will be given as a gift to a niece for her Christmas by her Auntie. I loved her look and her outfit was just fab. The wee girl is a future fashion designer for sure 🙂
A photo of the crochet toy version of the girl in the child's drawing. It is sitting on a small own beanbag with it's legs crossed at the ankles and it's arms outstretched to show the spidery wings of the outfit. Like the drawing is has a bare midriff with a visible belly button.
This is a front-on photo of the same crochet toy, showing a top down perspective of it's head with the long snout and little black nostrils. It's black eyes have been highlighted with white yarn the texture of the crochet leaves that cover the body can be seen in this photo.
Just a wee reminder that there's only a week and a bit to get your entries in for the #CazimodoCrochet competition to win a free custom made crochet toy with free postage to anywhere in the world that postal services reach. The draw will take place on Halloween. Remember to attach the hashtag to your entry so I can find it on the day.
Here's Super Krab, a recent custom order, to gee you up a bit. You wouldn't say no to that happy wee face now would you? 😄
A child's drawing of a crab on the left and two photos, one facing forward and the other facing backwards, of the crochet toy made from the drawing. The crab'a shell is orange on top with a red underside. It has large blue eyes on black stalks and large yellow crab claw feet. It has yellow arms made up with ball-like structures, with clab claws on the ends. It is wearing a ref cloak, visible from the rear view, with the letters S and K in green on the back for Super Krab.
Some of the Kids' drawings toys I am asked to make are just a riot of colour and imagination 🙂 This recent make is a good example of that. It's supposed to be all one creature, but I worked the pieces separately and joined them via little crochet loops so that the wee boy could play with them individually if he wanted to.
A crochet version of the child's drawing as described in the first image. It is sitting on a little owl cushion on a wooden surface next to a red wall.
