Deer in a dry field, there are males and females, trees can be seen in the background. In the center is a deer with majestic antlers, looking side over its shoulder.
This color postcard shows expansive lavender fields in Nabowla, Tasmania. The foreground is filled with dense rows of lavender plants in full bloom, forming a broad carpet of purple flowers. A reddish-brown dirt track runs along the very bottom edge of the image. In the midground, the lavender fields continue in long, orderly rows that follow the gentle contours of the land, with subtle variations in purple and green indicating different plantings or stages of growth. A single large green tree stands slightly left of center, breaking the uniformity of the fields. In the background, a line of darker green forest separates the farmland from low, blue-gray hills or mountains under a pale blue sky. The overall impression is of a rural agricultural landscape focused on lavender cultivation, with strong horizontal lines and vivid color.
A group of cattle, primarily brown with one black cow, stand closely together in a line while grazing on a grassy field. The scene is set in a rural landscape, with the cattle facing away from the camera, revealing their backs and hindquarters. The field is bordered by a mix of trees and shrubs, some with autumnal foliage, and a backdrop of rolling hills or wooded area in the distance. The overall atmosphere is calm and pastoral, with natural lighting suggesting late afternoon.

A flock of sheep between fences, two of them looking straight at the camera, one clearly in focus, the other blurred, with a blurred forest in the background.
We came across a group of Icelandic horses grazing and cavorting in a field of yellow flowers! What a perfect photo opportunity as the surrounding meadow stretched far, embracing a foal in a sea of color.

The Garden Pig / Pig Art by Lisa S Baker. A pig adorned with a floral crown gazes peacefully as a small bird perches on its snout. The delicate arrangement of flowers adds a whimsical touch to the scene.
View From Mount Helgafell Iceland by Debra Martz
Mount Helgafell, the Sacred Hill on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, holds a special place for Icelanders. It is believed that silently climbing to its summit without looking back grants three wishes.

My experience: Mount Helgafell, the Sacred Hill on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, holds a special place for Icelanders. It is believed that silently climbing to its summit without looking back grants three wishes, but this can only be done on one's first ascent, which many have already completed to secure their desires.
I wasn't aware of the tradition of making three wishes before the ascent, and the photo only shows the view where I turned to see what was behind me, so I missed the opportunity. Also, as I'm not Icelandic, it might not have applied to me :-)
