An image of an owl that I created with digital art and digital painting, and enhanced in Photoshop.
Owls are birds from the order Strigiformes, which includes over 200 species of mostly solitary and nocturnal birds of prey typified by an upright stance, a large, broad head, binocular vision, binaural hearing, sharp talons, and feathers adapted for silent flight. Exceptions include the diurnal northern hawk-owl and the gregarious burrowing owl.
A vibrant blue budgie is centred against an ornate, circular floral pattern in tones of violet and turquoise. The image combines rich textures and contrasting colours.

This is a Bittern. I’d never heard of these birds before, but they are interesting… First off, they stretch their necks upward when they’re trying to hide, because the stripes along their necks and torso appear to melt into the tall grasses, helping to disguise them.
And secondly, their bird call is deep and gurgling, almost like a glug of water down a drain. It far over the wetlands they call home, and stands out because it’s so low in register.
We have them here in Humboldt County in northern California along the Redwood Coast. This bird was requested by a patron who stopped by my art booth this last year.
Illustrated Bittern in standing water, against a blue paper background with darker gradients at the top and bottom. Surrounding the bird is a halo of light, as well as a Bokeh lighting effect in yellows and dusky greens.

A regal raven emerges from the shadows in this cinematic digital painting, its sleek feathers catching the light with dramatic contrast. Deep shades of blue and charcoal meet warm amber highlights, creating a sense of mystery and wisdom. The detailed textures and atmospheric background give this portrait a bold, moody feel-perfect for adding intrigue and elegance to any space
This Northern Cardinal image features a vibrant red cardinal perched on a branch, rendered in expressive, luminous colors with soft green and golden tones of spring in the background. Known for its striking color and distinctive crest, the cardinal is one of the most recognizable and beloved birds in North America.
The rich reds of the cardinal contrast beautifully with the loose, atmospheric brushwork, creating a dynamic piece of bird wall art that brings warmth, color, and a sense of nature indoors. Cardinals are often associated with love, hope, and remembrance, adding emotional meaning to this wildlife watercolor painting.
This cardinal bird artwork is ideal for home decor in living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and nature-inspired spaces. It also makes a thoughtful gift for bird watchers, gardeners, and anyone who appreciates wildlife art. Available as fine art prints, canvas prints, framed artwork, and other high-quality formats.
