I'm not @bannanaente@lemmy.world avatar bannanaente .

I don't have the power to grant anyone admin rights. You can see who our community team is here: https://fedihosting.foundation/lw-team/#org-chart

And it's pretty rude to sit in our chat desperate for excerpts, and then have no idea what you're talking about when you "find" something. I'd care more about leaks if I felt we had something to hide, but it's still pretty damn rude. We shouldn't have to be super careful about what we say in chat, and we're not.

JordanLund and JonsJava are also different people. @JonsJava and I have had our differences. We're not one clique moving in lockstep, even if we don't broadcast our differences publicly.

I do think nearly any mod of a large community is going to get some blowback if they enforce any rules at all. I don't agree with everything our mods do, but I do think overall they're a pretty solid team.

Look at the org chart.

I, me, Serinus didn't grant anyone admin rights. I don't have the power to do so. I encouraged him to use the admin bot he already had access to.

@BBCRD Would love to see some of your shows, iPlayer, BBC News, Weather... Just anything else come from your Mastodon instance.

You are testing the grounds for the Fediverse but seemly not putting much into it, there are already some bots that post your BBC articles on here. So obviously there are people looking for your content.

I understand that the teams to do with those projects need to be contacted and will be the ones to maintain and post up but it will be amazing to see more than the 4 accounts on the instance after 2+ years of you testing the ground.

Blaze OP , to Fediverse in Is there any reason why there is no large generalist Lemmy instance managed from the USA? Is this just a coincidence?

Which is ironic as the Ruud, the founder, is Dutch

It always surprises me that politics@lemmy.world icon politics is specifically US-only. Why not USpolitics ?

Then both mentioned options could work. They are different in the balance between simplicity ( is easier) and power (-mode has behind).
Both have huge ecosystems, great documentation, vibrant communities and are rock solid. Dokuwiki is accessible on a website (in the net or in your machine) and org-mode mostly on your machine but it is super easy to replicate or export for use in many devices.
I"ll happily expand if you choose any of those, :)
