i hate asking for money but i can't start this second semester without any power :( and i know i already asked for money for vet fees but i really dont wanna have to spend the vet money on utilities since i care more about my cat than myself so uhm. i'll keep saving up and counting pennies to get him his treatment even if i have to live in the dark

She threatens to kill and destroy anything i love. She threatens my pets until i'm so scared to keep them around that i give them away, she controls my life by ordering me to show her my bank account balance and if the amount isn't to her liking, she punishes me, she constantly belittles me, is an alchoholic gambler constantly begging me to buy her alchohol with the little Money i have, and i can't even save up money to move out because i'm paying for college out of pocket.

My girlfriend’s family desperately needs help. They’ll be homeless on Monday (4/8) after her mom’s partner was fired for reporting transphobic harassment in Kentucky. Since then, every attempt to find a new job has been met with discrimination.
The court has given them only 2 days to leave. They have 2 kids (6 & 16) and 2 dogs, and they are about to lose the only home they have.
Their own family promised to help… but instead, they stole from them and assaulted my girlfriend, who is 16 and trans. Now they have almost nothing. Even the storage unit with the kids’ belongings will be sold on 4/6 if it isn’t paid off.
They have no one left to turn to. Any donation, even a small one, or a simple boost could be the difference between safety and losing everything.

I'm back from the denturist. He said my gums are getting damaged by the current immediate dentures & obtaining fixed ones would help with that & with eating more foods. The fixed dentures aren't as expensive as immediates were but they are still costly & not covered by my pharmacare. I am a disabled death doula/death care aide, working on independent contracts basis & have no additional health insurance coverage. I was slowly saving up for fixed dentures but had to use the $260 saved for unexpected medical costs for me & Mom's recent downturns in health last month.
These are the costs I was quoted today, for getting full set of fixed dentures made with the related costs that I'm #fundraising for:

They have greedy, conservative, meddling relatives who do everything but help... Including calling social services in an attempt to steal the property out from under them. They almost succeeded last week.

I'm almost ready to give up on friendica. I know it must be some setting in my configuration, but the simple mysql queries that drive the page display are sometimes taking more than a minute to run. I have not been able to troubleshoot this, and in the meantime the very existence of the instance is pushing the mysql CPU load above 350%. My landlords have now gone several days without making food for me opting only to make fries for my roommate because "his food requirements are simple"
I need assistance once again as the unexpected SSD cost has eaten away at a ton of savings. Remember, under my current situation, building PCs is how I cope and my social workers will use ANYTHING to sabotage my living situation, including saying "the legal requirements for food are optional, do what's most comfortable" to my landlords to skirt the law.
My family has not eaten in 3 days, there is 5 of us. We are starving, due to being caught up with no car, no insurance, and only 1 out of the 5 of us being able to work. This month was terrible due to medical billing from my mother's three surgeries.
