Silicon Valley runs on H1-B visas. The Trump regime’s new policy charging new via holders $100,000/year will severely limit foreign workers in the Bar Area and not just in tech. This is a self own to make SF even more of a ghost town.

I really don’t believe anyone who says they want to end or restrict the #H1B program ‘because it is indentured labor’. It just smacks of ‘for your own good we must protect you’. There are ways to do this which do not involve shutting the door and harming the people who are already here, and who rely on this.
