For I recently found a YouTube channel that does covers of video game music in the soundfont of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones on the Gameboy Advance.

Here is one of my favorite tracks from, of course, Persona 3.

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a 2002 reissue of the 1995 SNES game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the Game Boy Advance. ⛰️

The game features many changes and differences from the original SNES game. Many of them were made either to account for the GBA's lack of a backlight and button configuration or to modernize the game's appearance.

Much of the artwork from the original game is retouched...

...to use shading effects to make it look more elaborate.

Six entirely new levels were added to the remake, called Secret Stages. They are unlocked by defeating Baby Bowser on World 6-8. Along with the six new levels, several levels from the original have had things added or removed from them. 🏰

The game's soundtracks were downgraded, trimmed, and replaced to match the sound capabilities of the GBA. 🎼

Playing Shining Soul on for the first time with a link cable for two player co-op. This is exactly how I'd imagine Phantasy Star Online in 2D.

A commission I completed for Riley of an apartment balcony scene during a vibrant sunset. Original characters Juno (she/her) and Yuzu (they/them) by Riley Luna (@(@yuzupup on Mastodon). I really enjoyed working on this!

Yggdra Union for Switch is on sale for $20, so I GUESS I should get that and learn it on an easier mode before giving the brutal, unforgiving original GBA version another try.

Well time to get back into

I had a save file that only advanced 25 minutes which isn't much but it's honest work :blobcatderpy:

I lost my 10 hours long or so save file, rip.
