🥇 Super Mario Galaxy,
the best 3D platformer I've ever played,

🥈 The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker,
bringing me the classic Zelda experience, and

🥉 Sonic the Hedgehog 2,
offering pure retro platforming with it's entertaining, challenging and diverse level designs.

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a 2002 reissue of the 1995 SNES game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the Game Boy Advance. ⛰️

The game features many changes and differences from the original SNES game. Many of them were made either to account for the GBA's lack of a backlight and button configuration or to modernize the game's appearance.

Much of the artwork from the original game is retouched...

Six entirely new levels were added to the remake, called Secret Stages. They are unlocked by defeating Baby Bowser on World 6-8. Along with the six new levels, several levels from the original have had things added or removed from them. 🏰

The game's soundtracks were downgraded, trimmed, and replaced to match the sound capabilities of the GBA. 🎼

Super Mario Advance is a remake of Super Mario Bros. 2 developed by Nintendo Research & Development 2 as a launch title for the Game Boy Advance, released in Japan in March 2001 and in North America and Europe in June of the same year.

Super Mario Advance also contains a remake of the original Mario Bros. arcade game.

Just found out that I can easily upload the video files of my locally recorded Owncast streams to my webhoster and link to these files via markdown in the Owncast channel description to create VOD archives comparable to those on Twitch. 🔗

This way visitors of my Owncast instance can directly watch the VODs on the website and get an impression of my streams even if I'm not currently streaming. 👀

As a little experiment, I've set up an account on Pixelfed to provide Pixelfed-specific tips and support.

I don't normally set up platform-specific accounts, but Pixelfed users are only able to see posts with images attached, so it's impossible for them to see most posts on FediTips.

To follow this from your Pixelfed, type this address into the search box on Pixelfed but without any spaces:
