Being a tief of all trades means that tbh I don't rly have super intense obessions most of the time. So that's kind of alienating BC mostly, ppl out there are kind of focused on one or two things.
I write but I'm not a writer
I game but I'm not a gamer
I EDM but I'm not a raver
I tinker but I'm not a techie
I drive but I'm not a gearhead*
I travel but I'm not an explorer
I work out but I'm not a gymgirl
I spell but I'm not a witch
I sex but I'm not a nympho
I pansexy but I'm not a rainbroad
I poly but but I'm not a... amorite? Fk.
I guess I'm just a mishmash of a collection of interests of fluctuating intensities!

Hi. This blog mostly features my adorable cats, Joey and Sheena. Thank you for occasionally indulging me when I post non-feline things.
I just published my novel, Water Dogs. It's the best book about midwestern teens from the 1970s discovering punk rock and saving the universe that I've ever written. Please buy lots of copies from Barnes & Noble (or Amazon).
The first computer I used regularly was an i286 running DOS. It had a black and white display and a large 5.25" floppy drive. I had 12-20 games like Alley Cat, Battle Chess, DigDug and Pac-Man clones on single disk. My favourite was Space Commanders II. I was 4 or 5.
Black and white screenshot of the game "Space Commanders 2" from 1985. The scene features the player's spacecraft on the lower part of the screen and multiple lines of space invaders above. On the top there is flying soucer holding a bonus item and the scoreboard above.

Digital painting using Infinite Painter on a Galaxy tablet | 2020
A little about what I do and background behind my work.
I use a variety of mediums, including wood, acrylic paint, an occasional found object and discarded wire, paint transfer, laminated paper, painted fabric, painting on wood panels, cut and glued painted paper on paper, and digital painting.
My assemblage works are mostly boxes filled with recognizable objects that are constructed by hand and assembled in absurd scenes accompanied by equally absurd titles. I call them “absurd realities." They fall a bit outside the typical assemblage genre of using found objects in that I use very few found objects and construct mostly my own objects.
The paintings on wood panels are mostly abstracts from the Cayucos series, with a few landscapes and seascapes thrown in inspired by our travels to the California Central Coast.
My digital work is created with Infinite Painter on a Galaxy tablet, consisting mostly of landscapes and seascapes inspired by travels in California and scenes from around our neighborhood and home.
I love color. All kinds of colors. Especially bold and strong colors. I often use exaggerated colors and I’m not afraid to occasionally use some pure black paint.
So far I have been successful at trying not to take art too seriously and making some kind of statement. Well, most of the time ;-). My main aim is to get people to smile or laugh via the ridiculous and absurd and beautiful colors.
let's make a proper introduction post for this account, shall we?
🌲 i'm Tux or Theo! shapeshifting noodle critter, potential tf hazard, furry comic artist, and probably other things! X3
🌲 i'm currently working on a big webcomic project called "Meet Me in the Woods" - it's got shapeshifting aliens, mystery, spooky forests, and a couple of protagonists prone to getting into trouble. give it a look! ;3
(link is in my profile~)
🌲 i am also the creator of the amphimorpho species! they're my pride and joy, and you too can be one completely for free! check out species info at https://amphimorpho.carrd.co/
one of the reference images for the amphimorpho species, stylized in the form of handwritten notes in a book. written information on this page is as follows:
"Proteus amphimorpho: A unique, chimeric species initially developed under Project Delta to study cellular regeneration using novel gene editing techniques."
"Defining traits: Long body, prehensile tail, rabbit-like ears, lack of nostrils, belly pouch(?), shapeshifting ability."
"Tail is 1 - 2x the body length on average, and incredibly strong!"
"Ears can pivot independently and are very expressive."
"The lack nostrils, instead utilizing an olfactory organ on the roof of the mouth and their tongues to smell."
"Front and hind paws have similar shapes."
