#3dprint ed a commercial dragonmodel for a friend and mistakenly assumes to be well designed. It's parts weren't even flat on the bad and gunked up my printhead with a big ball of molten plastic.
Smelled quite annoying too.
Cleaning it was a hassle.
Started by setting it to a 90°C and pulling off what I could.
Finally had to take everything apart and ended up cleaning it on my stove by heating it in boiling distilled water.
After drying and alcohol-cleaning, everything worked great again.
Chtěl jsem si navrhnout lepší (klasičtější) vláčkodráhové kolečko k Vlaku. Tak už navrhuju i podvozek k vlastnímu vagónku zcela mimo Vlak. Mám pocit, že čím víc práce mám, tím víc se jí vyhýbám a dělám úplně něco jiného.
A year ago I started building first prototypes of a device that would be capable of calculating #moon phases based on the historical Metonic cycle. The result was „Meton“, a 3D-printed lunar phase calculator. So if you need an #opendata moon machine, go ahead.
I don't know how many #filament recyclers there have been so far. None of them have really succeeded yet. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them! 🤞🏻
I'm really happy with how well this came out, considering this is some absolute garbage tier PLA that's been in storage for over a year, and all I had to do was dry it out and fix the Z offset on my printer.
Who needs a Bambu when you've got Klipper? 😹
A set of 3D printed multimeter probe tweezers, my own modification of Parametric Multimeter Probe Tweezer by Tryphon on MakerWorld.
Found a Speak and Spell still in the box today at an estate sale🎉
Now I have to test it... Time to #3dprint some AA to C battery adapters to test it cause who has 4 C batteries lying around
Speak and Spell toy from the 1980s box with a "... As featured in E. T." label
I've been very busy this Summer preparing a new project: my Flixtour!
I'll be touring Germany to discover the communication towers (Fernsehtürme und Fernmeldetürme).
Then I will draw them and make different objects: 2D stickers, magnets, and 3D models to print! 😃
A map of Germany, I highlighted the path of my travel from Frankfurt to Berlin. A cute dinosaur is holding a paper where it's written "Flixtour part 1"
Pierwsza klamerka była za mała, więc zrobiłem drugą większą. Tym razem jest w niej więcej matematyki niż celowania na oko i suwmiarkę, ale o dziwo też się udało. :D
Kolejny krok to klateczka dla pszczelej mateczki… ;-)
I'll probably add this model to my "Spool Killer" #3dprinting List.
It is a pistachio opener, which I haven't been able to try out yet, due to being currently out of pistachios. See other two images and link.
I call any small, practical / useful #3dprint a "Spool Killer" because they can be used to finish off a spool that doesn't have enough filament left to make anything that big. You can print a dozen or so of these little designs for friends that can be used in every day life. I'm sure I'll have more examples in the future. #SpoolKillers#AdditiveManufacturing
For my non-German speaking followers: there's a new video with one of my new #3Dprint|ed instruments and, as always, you can find the transcription of the subtitles on my website (link in the video description).
'After your departure, I hid myself into the moon's reflection. Consumed by a fish, I patiently awaiting this day in its belly. Now that a glimmer of hope has returned, I have returned. I, Yumigami, god of the moon, cover the Earth in pale moonlight.'
